Happened with my desktop last time after a cold boot problem. Too many force restarts is bad so don't really want to risk it.

DotA, even with 512MB RAM can play. It's not exactly that demanding.

Of course have to see what game you're playing la. NFS need recommended 2GB at the very least. Games like SC2 need 4GB to run smoothly.
