all version of windows 7 iso is actually same..

just delete 1 config file then can instal any version...

eg : if you have ultimate @ pro @ home premium dvd

you can install home basic and starter also..


but need edit the iso before burn lah tongue.gif

Guys... None of these would work... Because the cd key on our laptop is already activated in our current windows.. Windows cd key can only be activated once.. So even if u install ahem version but activating using our current product key it won't work... That's why backup recovery cd's exists nowadays...

Because its OEM, you want can use multiple, buy the retail version with box..

hmm~~ but thr oem version , can call ms and tell them reactivate right? or oem can install once only ? after that cannot use anymore ? sound doesnt make sense since shop also got sell retailer and oem version. If oem can install once only, then no point buying it .. ><

There is a point to buy, its cheaper XD
Actually, the OEM can only be bought when you buy a new PC, which is tied to that new PC...

The retail one you can use it to install to other pc, but the old pc need to uninstall the Windows first...

Actually, the OEM can only be bought when you buy a new PC, which is tied to that new PC...

If want own a pc , better buy retail one ~~~ more expensive but save the trouble ^^

OEM has been pre-activated for u already...

not sure if things ve been changed in Win7... it used to work for XP...

anyway, different Windows version, the content in the DVD is different as well, as opposed to Vista...
