QUOTE(dante10 @ Oct 16 2010, 03:06 PM)
is there any way to make the set sfb permanent? i have manage to overclock the cpu to the speed like yours..but it only last for a while...after 2~3 times restart..it back to normal again

CODE
Command Line Switch Options
SetFSB Version 2.3.147.112 has the following Command Line Switch Options.

  -w : Wait [00-99 sec] default=10sec
  -s : Set FSB [000-999 MHz] or [000.0-999.9 MHz]
  -i : Increment(targetFSB > currentFSB) or Decrement(targetFSB < currentFSB) [00-99 MHz] or [00.0-99.9 MHz] default=max
  -u : 0(default)=normal , 1=ultra
  -b : 0(default)=normal , 1=background
  -p : PCI-E [000-999 MHz] or [000.0-999.9 MHz] default=none
FSB overclock[set PCI-E then increase FSB], FSB underclock[decrease FSB then set PCI-E]
-q : Quiet [no GUI to be displayed at all]
  -cg[string] : Clock Generator default=none Maximum 15 characters

Example: -w05 -s300.1 -p105.1 -cg[ICS9LPRS918BKL] -u1

This sets fsb to 150 without showing any window.
CODE
setfsb.exe -w0 -b1 -s150 -cg"ASUS G73JH"

Every time you execute your shortcut / batch-file, a UAC window pops up. You can bypass it by:

This occurred to me just now. The nVidia's refused to kick in, leaving me with the Intel HD for the games.

Something to do with the driver? I'm using the beta driver ver. 260.63 icon_question.gif

Added .exe to the nvidia control panel?

It won't heat that much, mostly just extra 3-5C ...
Unless yours currently is near overheating, then don't do it.

Means not that good chip you got there....
and also try change just one slider, don't try with two slider...
find each maximum first then after that use both max slider and test for stability, if unstable, reduce one of it..

Not very good overclockable chip I mean.

There should be MSI Kombustor for the GPU stressing...
Though you can test it just by playing games, if it didn't crash, then its fine..

What about if added .exe to the nvidia control panel?

Last time I used Furmark to test the stability, but MSI combuster basically is Furmark as well...
