u did fresh installation from what cd? 'ahem' ones of course not valid.. If u did format it from the backup cd u burnt out, it should work..

Windows 7 Home Premium is RM335 for retail box. I don't think its expensive lor.
I believe its because people think, if I can get pirate version, why I need to buy
ori? Pirate RM12 (or RM0 if download), while ori is RM335. Ori is really expensive
compare to download.

Of course, some people will justify saying due to exchange rate, software is really
expensive. This one I can't deny. But RM335 for windows with free updates for years to come,
i think its well worth it.

best if u can find the Home Upgrade Package... 3 Home Premium for US$150...

if u re a student, u can get Academic price... Pro for less than rm200...

if u re a Uni/poly student, check if u can get involved in MSDN AA, free Pro to use...

Technet and MSDN, a few hundred US$, heaps of licenses to use...

Guys... None of these would work... Because the cd key on our laptop is already activated in our current windows.. Windows cd key can only be activated once.. So even if u install ahem version but activating using our current product key it won't work... That's why backup recovery cd's exists nowadays...

OEM has been pre-activated for u already...

not sure if things ve been changed in Win7... it used to work for XP...

anyway, different Windows version, the content in the DVD is different as well, as opposed to Vista...
