Updated your driver to 258.96 ? and also disable the vertical sync in nVidia control panel under 3d settings..
or Power 4 Gear set to high performance?

Isn't GDDR3 and DDR3 is the same in GPU?

Isn't the "G" is just denoted to Graphics, which sometimes get taken off?

Well, from what I've read, DDR3 is the same with GDDR3, with actually it should be referred to GDDR3 since DDR3 is for the RAM on the system, while GDDR3 is referring to the RAM on GPU...

Install No 3 first since No 1 only driver, no apps...
After install, install No 1 from device manager...

Faster boot time, at least what I tested, but its beta driver (No 1), so might be an issue...
issue so far, no temp detected by BatteryCare/HWMonitor...

While the No 2 is just latest version for Intel HD, shouldn't be a problem...

You can change the hard drive, it still got warranty...
Just to be sure, just change back the hard drive if want to sent for warranty...
