heres the last few seconds of reading right before i quit css, fps was about 28-30 sometimes dropping to 17.....i think this is weird.

sad.gif plus ive only installed a couple of applications, like avg antivirus and my logitech game controller. thats all.

try disable the AV and other program , is that happen to other games also ?

ive disabled AV, ive played other games and they seem to be running fine, theres no drop in fps. but they are also no GPU intensive such as Live for speed and ferrari challenge.

Just became a happy owner of A42Jv thumbup.gif

Bought it last friday

got newer A42Jv with the i5-460M.. yup.. 460, not the 450

but i bought the 450 version due to budget wink.gif

I bought the one with 450m. around rm2.5k

the one with 460m is around rm2.7k

450 - 2.4ghz
460 - 2.5ghz

Perhaps it require more virtual memory. Try increase the VM.

Do let us know your feedbacks on the laptop, many of my friends are interested too but I've been seeing quite some complains on the Nvidia Optimus thingy hmm.gif

Is the difference between the i5-450M and i5-460M huge? What's their difference basically?

Basically find the correct PLL chip you have on your mobo and just use move the silder in SetFSB to the right to increase the FSB and hopefully it stable...
