Regardless the speakers package and brand, which do you think would give a better all-rounder for both movie and music?

Denon HDMI 1.4 while the Marantz HDMI 1.3... Denon 75Watt vs Marantz 50Watt. Marantz slim.. Denon bigger in size...
As I am Marantz user.. I will of course recommend Marantz..... but get 1601..... or wait for the current year model like SR5005.

Its best tat u try it out for urself.. in d end u r d one who has to live wif it..

Aftr sayin tat.. I dont tink ther is a bad decision wif either of tis 2 avrs.. d Marantzs N series r digital amps hence d slimmer design, d S series r traditional design n is d same hunk of metal design as in d denons..
For claimed pwr in rms/chnl is best to take wif a grain of salt as ther r no hard n fast rule in d way each manu test their gear for d allegged claim - all I can say is tat only pwr amp claims can be quantified - dont put too much emphasis on ur decision based on total pwr output unless u r runnin xremely inefficient spkrs...
