I hate that kind of grip like the original LC's grip... If u got money go buy badminton racket grip to balut sure nice one biggrin.gif RM5 u can balut both handle XD

LC's grip got the waffle thing?! Damn good lah...

The waffle grip is usually for motorcross or supermoto bikes. I manage to google more about this grip, see below.
I think it's up to the user. I'm just getting started with it so no comment. These grips are sold at very expensive price in other countries. Also got another grip, Protaper, which was transparent and feels very tacky. Price tag was RM28, but I think can reduce one... My friend used it on his bike. Only problem was it gets yellowish after long time use, and hardens...

I thought about putting racket grips. When consider sweaty palms, rainy days and weathering of the rubber and it will become powdery in no time. Let us know lah once you give that a try...

Good locks or padlocks, bike cover, electronic alarm etc...
Custom brake caliper cover to prevent theft. Carburator housing, if using aftermarket carb. Additional CDI housing to prevent CDI hilang.

My neighbor park his LC with his helmet on the bike everytime, no lock whatever for long time also no problem. Maybe the helmet will scare off thieves because thinking parking sementara only...

if really want a gd protection just buy the ship docking eh chain & lock it to ur bike is more than every thing le. coz the chain itself need high tech tools in order 2 cut it through.

yea.. thats why i bought gloves..gloves solves it.. hard grip + gloves = grip..

if soft grip + gloves = slippery..

so now i wont change grip ade.. if wan to change.. wait till my balancer come out the colour 1st..now still new..black n shiny.. then i change 1 set.. grip + balancer..

Generally most aftermarket grips are good.
- AXO ok, a bit thin, but grips palm well. 1+ yr using and still going strong. Doesn't peel or harden. I like it. RM10.
- RevRider - heard before, seen before, never tried yet.
- Givi ok, but never tried. I don't like this brand becoz most of its stuff is overprice, so I think the grip also overpriced. tongue.gif. RM12-15.
- Domino - branded import. I'm using the semi waffle, which is for motorcross/supermoto. There's one type Domino 3 for motorcross.
- Protaper - branded import. 2 types. Tacky grip transparent for racing/road bikes. Got foam grip with micro pillows for motorcross, quite comfortable.
- Other brands: Bride, Bungbon, Playlife etc etc...

- Givi, Domino and Protaper I see at Tokico only... didn't do much survey. There must be a lot more brands out there...

Here's what to avoid:
- Old stock. Rubber outer layer already become powder and degraded.
- Workmanship: Use airgun to remove old grips. Do not let them cut as it may damage the plastic twist grip on the right handlebar. Test the length of the grip to your original first, before they cut any holes on the side to fit the balancer. Do not swap left right, but pomen should know this already since left right size are different. Twist throttle should be smooth, and it return to zero position smoothly too.
