Black user reporting in.

This is my first smart phone and i am quite please with the performance. The only problem I have is that their arent any warning when the battery is low.

Ooo what does it mean when some of you mentioned that you can mod the phone? Is it a soft mod or a hard mod?

Can someone give me some guidelines on what services are free and what is not? Sorry for being such a noob since this is my first smartphone.

Guys! I think i have like 2 dust particle on my screen. Is it possible to clean it up without having to disassemble the cover? Or is that actually a dead pixel?

Wait, i thought this technique only works if you are looking for stuck pixel. If you cover your camera with your finger, the whole screen will turn black so how to spot the dead pixel which is suppose to be black?

Im not that concerned about it if its just a speck of dust but dead pixels? I bought this phone like just a month ago.

Huh? I didnt know that the warranty actually covers dead pixel though.

Hmmm... I think im using a AP set. Wonder if I can send it over to the NCC...

Yup that is one thing that i want to avoid. They can always argue that they didnt see the dead pixel.

On a side note, im really surprised that new LCD nowaday still have issues with dead/stuck pixel.

I just found out that my set is actually a Zitron/ori set. Does that mean i can go to the nearest NCC and boss them around regarding the dead pixel?

Thats great! Do i have to bring along my warranty card and receipt when I go and storm their centre? Another thing, how would NCC usually deal with issue on dead pixel? Change the LCD panel or just change a new unit for me? I wonder if i will have to wait a long time to get it fixed.

Is there a way to record the 3G usage especially on the amount of data transfered while surfing the net? I got my latest bill from Celcom and the amount is kinda dubious. As far as i know, I have been very cautious when it comes to surfing the net (i go online using wifi).

Just came back from Celcom. Darn it! My phone has been cheating on me! It went online through 3G while I wasnt looking. Is there a way to disable the 3G online function? Learn the lesson the hard way. Or shall i say the expensive way?

Guys! Im updating on the issue of the dead pixel on my screen. Went to the new Kota Kinabalu branch NCC and got it fixed without any question ask. Very satisfied with their service.

Clareen: Any picture of those screen protector you have for sale? Does it cover the whole faceplate or only the area of the screen? TQ.
