swt..yup, abit slowpoke compare to others model. maybe since not much ppl care about it. the reason i open this thread is I saw some forumers disccuss their C6 at outside, so i open a specific thread to them for disccusion purpose, anything wrong? Plus, C6 only available at Malaysia Not more than 2 months, maybe the market not starting hot yet leh?
dun ever try to compare the popularity of 5800 with C6. this is not fair at all. 5800 is the 1st touch-screen phone in Malaysia Nokia Market ,launch almost 2 years (C6 not more than 2 month, some ppl might still dunno about its existence), and function is good as well, surely will grab a lots of market attention, plus the price is quite competitive.
Not all ppl like to mod their phone, including me. Due to ppl may just need a stable, functionable, reasonable phone.

Can I flash it into X6?

why would they wanna port X6 firmware into 5800??? Both are generally the same...

I meant can I flash C6 firmware into X6?...last time n97 cannot now C6 can???

My gf using this phone gets "memory full, please close some applications" when accessing the gallery.

Why my GPS keep "waiting for GPS" when i want to start a journey in OVI map
i can search for destination and view map, the only thing is "waiting for GPS"   and no other further respond.
The another thing is there got a red dot in left-upper corner to find current place, but nothing happen when i click it
..help me pls..

If your gps can't lock obviously cannot know your current location lo...maybe your phone faulty?...bring back to NCC

Obviously can:) but you might not have the map in the phone so you might have to load the map into your phone

Seriously leh...my best time is 10-15 seconds and I'm sure my A-gps turned off but clear skies yeah...

E71 I think slower but I'm sure N97 gave me that speed too...and X6 and E90 too...E75 not sure liao...If I'm not mistaken, I got 15 secs speed while I was on the highway

Ok...I don't know lar...who cares if it's 30 secs or 15 secs I won't die for that couple of secs anyway, I'm still not using much of gps now...cause can't drive yet

the chronology of my problem :

04/09.10 --> buy my nokia C6 ori set from shop

05/09/10 6.00am --> finish charging for 8 hours

05/09/10 6.30am --> update firmware from 11.0.021 to 11.0.029

05/09/10 8.00am --> test garmin software...problem -- cannot find GPS devices. ask a HP shop, they say that the version are not compatible with my firmware.

05/09/10 2.00 pm --> keep trying to solve the problem...but still fail to solve

05/09/10 3.00pm --> found new problem, which my QWERTY keyboard problem. cannot press letter "h" on QWERTY keyboard, if i press it..it will hang....need to open the battery, then turn ON the HP again..
Pls help....I'm very sad now...tommorow want to go to the HP shop

OMFG, I JUST BOUGHT A NOKIA C6 For 900 bucks and when I got home and went on the net, I found dozens of unsatisfactory reviews and dishes about the C6.

yeah, there's lousy phone and its mine...  ha ha

bought c6 last thursday, going home and and wanna recharge but while recharge no indicator and after that cannot on, battery still flat, test with other charger still the same.

going back to shop, they change  to another c6, better unit i think becoz can recharge..... but...... keep trying to connect to wifi eventhough didn't set to search wifi, will hang randomly and will shut down if i keep it in my pocket and while switch on got note general system error lah, sim card not registered lah, going offline lah after few times reset and reinstall fw still like that....

tomorrow will go to the shop again asking for replacement ... hopefully the third set will be better ha ha

I have been using this phone for past 2 months and I am quite happy with it. I got this phone to replace my 5800 which got pick pocked while boarding bas while waiting for N8 to release.

But lately there is a weird problem I encounter. My song will go missing suddently. Those song are stored in memory card and suddently it will go missing but not all missing. I got about 200+ song but suddently it become 20+ song left in the memory card and the rest gone missing. This is the second time it happen.

Anyone encounter this before? I updated the firmware to the latest. Never happen to any of my nokia phone before. Just weird, it goes missing but not all missing, left some in the memory card?

Those song are not hidden. I have check the memory card itself and view all hidden file. Those song are really missing. Anyway, I will format the memory card and try again.
