why don't you try stop using the built-in key lock and use SlideUnlock software?

Some WiFi access points don't have internet connection. I tried a few at Tesco Extra Ipoh. When you connect and try to surf, "invalid server name" pops up. But I think the places you tried it at should have internet connection..unless Screamyx pulled a fast one

Firmware is the base of the phone. Consider it like OS. Without firmware the phone won't start at all (Those who do CFW will know)

Hardware is the physical phone. Includes all the speakers, camera, screen, yada yada...

Software is what you install into the phone to improve usability

OS for the PC is Windows. OS for the phone is Symbian^1.
Firmware is pre-installed. If not the phone won't be sold.
CFW is something those pros like to play...I don't do it also.. forget about it until you are a master of Symbian sweat.gif

Actually X6 typing out SMS also quite fast. What do you think ping0613? The capacitive really something compared to resistive. Yesterday I went to a reunion. Man...I tried this girl's resistive (CSL so maybe worse than others) touch... Really is press and not touch shakehead.gif

Anything also sure have bugs when you reach a certain application or usage. See games...any games also have bugs. Some can be exploited, some can be a troublesome thing to get around..
