my opinion on what i've used
winamp - use alot memory...and slow at opening.. aimp2 - lightest player i've ever used...but bad eq foobar2000 - using it now...memory usage little high than aimp2 but still low than winamp..love the EQ!! |

another suggestion,u can use vlc player...it good also...i use it about 3 month..but it mainly for video player....winamp also not bad..if want save ur ram,u can use basic theme...

lately iTunes is more about 'selling machine' rather than audio player. Don't choose them if you have nothing related to Apple (such as ALAC, AAC etc.) or if you doesn't even thinking of buying anything from Apple Store because it is not worth it.
