too bad Santon left. but its bound to happen i guess.. too much pressure and not enough playing time lead to his transfer. not too bad of a mercato but it could get uglier; Zarate is the obvious replacement for Eto'o as he is fast and skillful like him but definately nobody can replace Eto'o..hopefully he turn out ok. Looking at our squad this season, I dont think Gasperini will play his usual 3-4-3 as we lack wingers for our attack. it could probably be 3-4-2-1 or 3-4-1-2 with Sneijder and Forlan as trequarista/2nd striker

I have just received the Cesar player worn keeper jersey from the game against Manchester City in the Dublin Super Cup, would anyone like to see images ?

There are some nice differences this season with the player keeper jersey like heat sealed shoulder seams etc.

Hopefully it turns out well, whatever our formation is. I can see Sneijder could play a pivotal player for us this season.
Anyway, i heard our bodoh management didnt know Forlan is ineligible for the CL group stage and selected him anyway. Then they realise they made a mistake!

i dont think it will be a big problem, he will be available for the knockout stage, if we make it sweat.gif (i hope i dont jinx myself here)

Sneijder need to remain a trequarista, i think the best formation is 3421 with Sneijder and Zarate/Forlan supporting lone striker Pazzini/Milito. What I would like to see this season is more of Nagatomo in 1st team action. Nagatomo and Obi as wingbacks is going to be explosive!

Julione
Lucio Samuel Ranocchia
Nagatomo Cambiasso Zanetti Obi
Sneijder Zarate/Forlan
Pazzini

We will play Palermo this coming Monday (our time). So far we have had a good record against them, and they are now without their talisman Pastore, and even without a coach. We really should win this. I predict a 2-0 win! Forza Inter!

what a bad game. 343 cost us imo, the amount of space in the midfield was huge. fix the formation to 4231 at least we have a better chance not to concede too much goals. 4 goals in the opening match is worrying.

Defence needs reinforcement. See-ing an italian defence like that is simply embarrassing. Gaaaassss perini should learn not to be stubborn like all our past managers.

there is no fault with the formation, I think we can't say 3-4-3 is more fragile in defence compare with standard back four

but the problem, obviously the team is still adjusting to the system looks like they aren't getting used to it at all, and some lack of discipline of defenders, which at least cost us 2 goals and the game.

3-4 lose with 3-4-3, I hope it'll get better and all parties remained patient with gasperini.

i agree. the team need to get used to a different mentality and strategy. clearly the players are still adjusting to the new formation. i'd still give a go at this 343 but Sneijder need to play, Zarate seems a bit clumsy at defence.

Them playing out of position also contributes to it. Almost all of our players are out of their natural position on the pitch in a 3-4-3 as oppose to a 4-3-1-2 or 4-2-3-1.
Apparently Branca had a meeting with Gasperini. Hopefully he changes things this mid-week.
