Hi guys, i have decided to buy the SGS this week, maybe at the end of the week. but im a newbie when i comes to phone. im gona buy the phone from LYN forumer. i found one forumer selling an original set wrranty by samsung. so the question to ask is. when i cod the goods,

1)what is the proper way to check the life span of the phone.
2)how to check whether it has being used or not.
3) how to determine the set is original or not
4)what are the equipment included in the box.
5) if it comes with samsung warranty card, how does it looks and does it need the seller details for the warranty to valid
6)how to check whether it is not a stolen phone.

if stolen set..impossible together with boxset..juz match serial number inside the phone with the box..

My Galaxy S is an AP Set but it box and phone serial no. are match..

juz get from maxis .. it cheap now

1. This question. Even the manufacture peeps can't tell. You can last long if you take good care of it. You can spoil it within 1 hour too if you drop that into water.

2. I can say it isn't a proper way to check as it can be master reset or factory reset the whole phone to looks like new.

3. Check the hologram sticker (IIRC) as well as the serial number match.

4 & 5. Check in SGS official thread. They stated there.

6. NO WAY to check if it comes with everything like new.

I guess many forumers have already answered your questions. To be frank, there's really no need to panic as long as you're not buying from some super dodgy shops
