Lag on battery while gaming

Hey guys not sure if i'm in the correct place but here's my problem
Every time i play games on my dell vostro 3700 on battery, lags will just happen every 30 sec or so. How can i overcome this? My laptop specs i5-430 nvidia 330m 4 gb ram 500 gb hdd standard battery modified version of windows 7 |
