QUOTE(rushmode @ Sep 20 2010, 03:09 AM)
Maxi was rather useless so no suprise when Ngog come replacing him, the team seems a bit more dangerous because they have to mark him and not torres alone. before that torres been mark very tightly leaving him no space to create an opening.

the team 2nd half was better than the 1st.. but still lacking the fluidity and composure. though it pains me to admit but IMHO we deserve the beating.
*
I'm still hopeful of the team.
Although we lost today, at least we capitalized on the opportunities given to us.

Yes MU won this game but we must know that what goes around comes around. This is football. Last season we won 4-1 and now we got beaten 3-2. I'm fine with it.

What important now is how the team pick themselves up after the fall. Same goes to life!

Let's look on the bright side, at least Torres is recovering to his former form and now that Ngog is slowly picking up his form. I hope that the team will do better.

YNWA~

Hm, I wouldn't rant about how RH positioned the team yesterday.

Started 4-2-3-1. Conceded 2 goals, no change, but there's still time. Luck was on our side for that few minutes and we converted both dead ball.

At 2-2, RH not only maintained the formation, removed lesser productive Maxi with Ngog and from there we were 4-4-2. He was definitely going for a win. Next, he replaced Meireles with Jovanovich which I believe was because of Jova's pace and strength to hit on the counter.

Anyone disagree with me he was going for the win? Very unfortunate, Berbatov converted another chance.

On another note, a change of manager means new players. Yesterday we had 4 new players(Cole, Meireles, Konchesky & Poulsen) on starting line-up. We've gone lesser than 10 competitive games if I'm not mistaken. Without Kuyt, I think we would need a little more time to gel and play as a unit. How much time? No one can tell.

We had the fighting spirit yesterday. We didn't just die. We attacked and gained the penalty and freekick. My opinion, defence was very unusual but we tried to fought back and got that 2 goals.

It was AFTER NGOG that Liverpool leveled.
We scored with a formation of 4-4-2. nod.gif

u dun get what i mean ? i said in this world which team who never play acting ? which match who 100% fair play ? Liverpool  rclxub.gif really living in history and never know how to accept losing , You Never Accept Losing is the best new word for Liverpool
*
thank you for the wake up call. I jz realized it's 2010. laugh.gif

as for the never accept losing, I don't really think so that we are the ones that NEVER accept losing.
at least I'll be the one to accept the loss. Although we lost, I focus on the good points. wink.gif

as for the play acting, well, you can't deny Nani did a lot of play acting in Sunday's game.
we are not pointing at the whole MU team, we're just not happy with Nani. That's all.
Play acting is already in the professional footballer's syllabus mind you? Like it or not, every big team will play act if there's a good chance to do so.
But to see Nani doing it so often is just provoking.

Well, if you don't see my point then be it. smile.gif
At least I don't need you to agree with my points. If you're such a hard neck. icon_rolleyes.gif

Just got back from Perth.  Watched the ManU game there live. Painful loss atho' we also lost there last season. Our midfield was much better in the second half and is an encouraging sign.

Australians are generally more interested in rugby but I saw about half a dozen guys wearing football jerseys during my few days there and guess what ...? Five of them were wearing the LFC shirt!

Fair enough for the Swiss team, can't take credit away from him.

Inter Milan has always been fighting for positions at the top, 3rd place finishing ain't nothing special and what was the reason he left Inter Milan again?

Not forgetting his bad spell in Blackburn Rovers.

I can't deny that he's good at bringing the best out of midtable teams, but he has no winning record, we Liverpool deserve better.

give me a reason why the team deserve better when the players themselves don't offer their best? laugh.gif
