QUOTE(nando @ Sep 19 2010, 10:49 PM) loads of optimistic fellas around but we have been poor for weeks... MU's slack gave us a 15 minutes of mad football....but serious....we were poor for almost 70 minutes!!!! and with exception of the Bucharest game, i cant remember any fluid and composed display plenty to cry over...nothing much to cheer about.... i dont see any light, with exception of Raul might turn out to be a useful player.... folks..the TABLE does not lie....i know we only played 5 games but position 16 and- 3 goal difference ( MINUS 3!) is exactly what our football deserve.... It's a worrying sign. Apart from 15 mins today..and the 2nd half against Arsenal, we have been way, way off our best. This season most players have not lived up to expectations..

QUOTE(cheez @ Sep 20 2010, 03:21 AM) Why amen? I'm still hopeful of the team. Although we lost today, at least we capitalized on the opportunities given to us. Yes MU won this game but we must know that what goes around comes around. This is football. Last season we won 4-1 and now we got beaten 3-2. I'm fine with it. What important now is how the team pick themselves up after the fall. Same goes to life! Let's look on the bright side, at least Torres is recovering to his former form and now that Ngog is slowly picking up his form. I hope that the team will do better. YNWA~ The team MUST do better from now onwards. This season's first 5 games is probably the toughest start we've had to the season in recent memory. Now that's out of the way, the team needs to pick up as many points as possible. Torres will come back to form when the midfield plays to its potential and provides the service he requires. Ngog is improving all the time and I believe he will make quite an impact on the team's season. I have faith that we will be better in the upcoming games. Season's still only 5 games old. After 38, hopefully we'll be back in the top 4 again.

QUOTE(skeleton202 @ Sep 20 2010, 11:17 AM) 1st goal u dont blame torres not markin bbtov well? 2nd goal u dont blame skrtel or carra not markin bbtov? 3rd goal u dont blame carra lost aerial against bbtov? all 3 goal are caused by poor MARKING I can't disagree with this..It's just poor defending..And notice something here..all their goals were from crosses..against birmingham also we struggle defending crosses..very obvious weakness so far..i wish we had a 30 year old hyypia now..we really need to improve on defense..especially in dealing with crosses..

QUOTE(solstice818 @ Sep 20 2010, 10:31 PM) A disgrace to what supposed to a good(if not great) match.... Most of that were ridiculous.... I will just pick few... The one where he hold his face like he just got a big nice slap from his gf who dump him. Next, the one poulsen push into him and he acted as if a lorry just knocked into him... Brilliant...Should be up there nominated for Oscar award or smth... Lastly, the one in the box, I dont think Agger even touch him and there, he falls like an invisible hand just dragged him down... Great actor... From Ronaldo , Rooney to Nani, Fergie got a hand in training up actors that good for Oscar award...Bet that must be why he bought them in the first place, potential of acting above footballing reason. Spot on. Players like him deserve to be yellow-carded and fined by FA. Disgrace to football.

QUOTE(solstice818 @ Sep 23 2010, 11:21 AM) Again, you lose to a team in League two with a strong line up and playing at home? You got an Australian, Danish, Greek, Brazilian, Serbian and Dutch International and yet you cant beat a team from League two? My thoughts, too. This result is just unbelievable. I can't believe that with a team of about 5/6 rather established players, including 3 regular starters for their country, can't beat a League Two side convincingly.

QUOTE(normeck @ Sep 25 2010, 09:14 PM) The Liverpool XI in full is: Reina, Johnson, Konchesky, Carragher, Skrtel, Gerrard, Poulsen, Meireles, Cole, Kuyt, Torres. Subs: Jones, Kyrgiakos, Lucas, Ngog, Agger, Jovanovic, Maxi. QUOTE(stargazer_7 @ Sep 25 2010, 09:18 PM) weeeee...Kuyt is back..we needed our hardworking player back...Don't think it's a 4-3-3 though..I'd like to see Cole playing behind Nando, but that would mean no left wing I guess..

QUOTE(jason18689 @ Sep 26 2010, 12:05 AM) Glen Johnson.....! Oh goddddddddddd... But Liverpool did play abit better when its Torres-Ngog rather than Torres alone upfront... Yeah, but it's nothing to shout about. The performance, considering it was at home, was awful. We were fortunate not to lose this game. Just like against Birmingham. This is freaking BS! Sad fact: WBA currently 5th, Liverpool 15th. We have scored only 6 goals in 6 games but conceded 9 already. WTF is going on?? This post has been edited by 8sg9ft: Sep 26 2010, 12:12 AM

QUOTE(leftist @ Sep 26 2010, 12:13 AM) cant believe there were some of us happy with this result...outplayed at home by a farkin sunderland...torres more & more looks frustrated...and the best part of all,Roy still cant get his tactics right after more than 10 games!! My thoughts exactly. After the first 10 mins, I thought Liv finally woke up from their slumber. FALSE HOPE!
