Haters will be haters. They already prejudged the players and they have to maintain their stand and ego regardless of the player's performance.

Credit where credit is due. It is ok to admit TW14 did enough to shut your mouth for one more week. But slagging him even after such a good performance is just poor class from the haters.

Be happy for/with him, at least until the next match.

"If a French player receives an offer from Arsene Wenger, it's practically impossible to turn down,'' Squillaci told the Guardian.

I wonder if that's really true that AW commands such high respect in French football. It's something like FM with cheat for French player then. biggrin.gif

The assumptions doesn't even have a hint of stats for backup. It's like the writer read a few pages of forum thread and wrote this article.

... Most Gooners would argue that Arsenal, at face value, are better than both Lyon and Italian has-been’s AC Milan. I would, at least.

Unfortunately, most of Europe don’t see it that way. Lyon have, despite their poor domestic performances, been a consistent player among Europe’s elite. Every season, just when you think they’re past it, they gain another scalp over a European giant. Add to that their acquisition of French talisman Yoann Gourcuff, they must be feared this season. AC Milan may not be the powerhouse they once were but they have always been a formidable side, rich with European history, in the Champions League (when they qualify that is).

Lousy justifaction. Lyon sign a player and they're better and AC Milan has a long history? You can say the same things and even more with Arsenal.

The draw is good. The away games would be more tricky but nobody expects anything less than top of group H.

If I were Alumina, I'll do a Flamini performance this season, just in case.

Didn't the Japanese kid got a double leg break during the Ajax trial?

You know, the talk about VDV signing for Spurs didn't even catch any whiff from me. Arsenal is so saturated of midfield talents that fans probably feels no reinforcements needed for the next few foreseeable years.

I didn't realise it at first.

not everybody in academy makes it to first 11. but the potential to tap into Japanese market is worth the risk.

quite frustrating...fab just acting dsnt him..

i have zero idea why you guys are worked up over this rehashed news. It was plastered all over a week or two before the transfer window closed. Fab added that Barcelona submitted two bids and both were rejected.

Arsenal got him a long time ago, while he was playing some youth cup in Old Trafford. He was the star of that tourny. He has to get a work permit/passport first, that's why he's only due at Arsenal now.

Vela has more competition now.
