That pass by V. Persie and finishing of Walcott abit resembles the WC Final...I think we're still weak in defence. But look at the bright side, Im glad our players made efforts in winning the ball instead of parking and waiting to be slaughtered.

The game should have at least 1 penalty on our side and too bad for Arshavin his angles are pretty tight. I don't think our defensive problem has been solved tho...

QUOTE(Quick` @ Sep 12 2010, 12:26 AM) you got me confused between steinsson and cahill once again From the replay it seems like before he clumsily launch his slide tackle on Chamakh, he kicked on Arshavin's foot, no? cant blame ya, they 2 look a lil bit a like even i myself had difficulties identifying them when they both joined bolton |

QUOTE(giotto @ Sep 12 2010, 11:03 AM) While we purr at the performance of our players, 1 player which i felt havent been getting enough attention is Rosicky. He's been solid as hell in the midfield for us. True he may not been scoring that many goals for us but so far all the games that i watched, he's been one of our main engine behind the goals. He's hardworking, he links up players well, he holds the ball well and he gets into good positions. Rosicky links up pretty well with Jack Wilshere. Im pretty impressed both of them can withstand all the physical onslaught from Bolton and they can keep the ball in play. Compare to last season, our weasels might just go all around losing the balls and dragging the match. They pretty much moved our attack...About the ball, I believe every team in BPL wants to do long throw-ins against us. |

We could have sealed it thru the penalty. I wonder why Chamakh din take it. Like I said before, our defensive problem hasn't really been solved.

QUOTE(Quick` @ Sep 19 2010, 02:43 AM) yeap i gotta agree with this as well It's not unlucky, that whole extra minutes there I can feel the whole defence is very shaky and nervous. Perhaps they shouldn't just kick the ball like that and not giving a fight back. It's like we were there just to wait for them to slaughter us. Yeah, it's a very bad defence, I think Sol Campbell would have done a better job.im not really quite sure what probman means by defence hasnt really been solve if ure talking about us having a good defence game, dominating in defense i cant see that, even if we have the bestest of defenders but if we are talking about our defense overall, not to bad.. hold on for really quite long time till that unlucky last minute goal. |

I thought when Arsene bought the 2CBs is to solve our defensive problems...but it ends up ppl justify it as saying "still-developing-CBs-partnership". That doesn't make sense at all, if I saw on the match and we need like 2 to 3 midfielders as backup to save our ass, that totally defeat the purpose of Arsenal attacking football. That's why Sunderland is a better playing-team than us yesterday.
