I was reading this post on High Def Digest and it sounds to me that Dolby & DTS have finally combined forces to create a TRUE 7.1 Surround Sound with out having to tweak the original 5.1 mix into a 7.1 mix. With this new Surround Sound Mode you can have the TRUE HD AUDIO EXPERIENCE. The First Movie to be using this new sound is TOY STORY 3 in TRUE 7.1 DTS High Definition Master Audio, when it comes out soon. Honestly now I can't wait to check this out and hopefully now that studios can finally use this codec and make Blu-Ray better than it already is. Plus Dolby Studios are coming out with Pro Logic IIz & a 9.1 Surround Sound Mode, so basically they are gonna tweak the 7.1 into the 9.1 kinda Ironic isn't it.
