During my college years, when you have great idea, my lecturers tend to have stereotypical thinking that you are a weird student, not encouraging you but instead treated you
like an outcast. That's something I don't like about Malaysian education system. They just want to program our brain to become factory workers, rather.
There was one time when my college finally "imported" a HK professor based in the USA to give a lecture on computer networking, short-lived, only 2 weeks though. I really respect him.
The way he teaches is totally different from how Malaysia does it. His 2 week lecture is good enough for me to apply in real life in my customer's projects until today.
