Can this board be found anywhere? I asked 2 shops near my workplace. One said the board is obsolete and another said that the board has no status.

Just got a regular AN8 SLI 3 days ago. The Fatal1ty disc only offers the audio driver , amd c&q driver and the use 2.0 driver. I was so pissed , I had to go to my father's room to download the driver. Other than that and the Nvidia firewall thing I'm pretty much happy with the board and my new Sapphire X800GTO R480 core

QUOTE(shift2 @ Jan 8 2006, 10:27 PM) Oops , I thought it was the fatal1ty an8 sli. My mistake Well about the Guru Panel , I asked Thundermatch JB and they called their supplier. Then their supplier said that they can bring it in directly from taiwan but I'll have to wait at least 2months. And it will cost Rm200+. This post has been edited by ffrulz: Jan 8 2006, 10:55 PM |

QUOTE(supertjs @ Jan 10 2006, 06:04 PM) Errr..... The panel thingy... It's RM20 only. I have no idea where'd the extra "0" came from. >_> Try gettin me one for RM20 then. And no, no more Abit mobo's sell the UGURU panel together. Only the tech. is implemented into the mobo. Panel's are all sold seperately. And those who bought the first few Abit mobo's providing UGURU tech. should have got them for free. It only started selling seperately after receiving humoungous response and a large demand for it. /rolls eyes |

QUOTE(jarofclay @ Feb 1 2006, 07:17 AM) Then use back bios 17. There's no pattern that I can clearly identify other than incompatibility of this ram with bios 19. Any list of compatible and non compatible rams here? The reason I say this is because I can run 250htt x 4 using bios 19. Heck, I even managed to have 300htt x 3 with ram multiplier and the pc is very stable. |

QUOTE(hexo @ Mar 9 2006, 02:31 PM) Yeah, 1M and 2M are not indications of stability until you run 32M. Usually what I do is that I first make sure that 1M and 2M runs fine, before proceeding to 32M. But in this case, when I closed super pi and before launching it again, explorer etc crashes. I don't have any other RAMs to test with, just these 2 sticks. I needed 1.55Vs for my Winny 3000 to be stable @ 2.4. Try lossening your ram timings. I'm guessing you already put your ram on a divider? DDR333?my vcore was at 1.5250 and DImm was at 2.80 (are they too high?). I based these values on the 'turbo' settings and upped them a little as when the voltages are at 'turbo', super pi 1M and 2M doesnt run at all. |

QUOTE(hexo @ Mar 9 2006, 07:52 PM) Update: Maybe it's your chip not being able to oc much. It will be helpful if you could post your stepping. Try upping your Vcore. 1.55 or 1.575.Changed to DDR333, 2T, HT at x3 as well as cpu multiplier x8. I could do super pi at 240mhz at 1M and 2M, but as soon as i notched it up to 245mhz bam! bluescreen. then blank screen and auto reboot. above 240mhz just doesnt work for my machine.. wats up? Thanks. |

No , stepping as in the 3 line of codes on the IHS of your winny. You need to take off the heatsink to be able to see it.

Nope. Unless you take off the heatsink itself.is there another way i can find out? like thru amd's cpuid util? |
