I couldn't dig the details from tictac in time about the mod's done to it but these aren't Abit official one's for those not in the know. Latency tweaks have been done to it. He just passed it to me 2 days ago and had to ciao after that for his prayers. Would appereciate some feedback about it

anyone can help??
i reset my CMOS.. now whenever i OC my CPU, when reboot..
the comp will beep... beep.... then automatic set the clock to default one..
wat can i do arr?  cry.gif

when reset, i recommend:

Set 3000RPM for all fans except,

980-1080 for system fan (if u're using standard 120mm fan)

actually, it depends at the fans speed. If it runs at 3500RPM and above at stock, so, there's no hassle to set the minimum speed at 3000RPM.

that's mean that u're not OCing that thing correctly. Try adjust the RAM timing. CMOS will reset to default setting when u're not OCing at the right way.

Then use back bios 17. There's no pattern that I can clearly identify other than incompatibility of this ram with bios 19.

The reason I say this is because I can run 250htt x 4 using bios 19. Heck, I even managed to have 300htt x 3 with ram multiplier and the pc is very stable.

If I'm not mistaken, get the latest nforce4 drivers. That should solve your problem.

These two are part of the chipset drivers for nforce4. Go to abit and download the nforce4 drivers and the installation would install these as well as updating all the rest to latest versions.

Plz know the basic of AMD64 overclocking ..

1) Heat is the number 1 enemy
2) HTT or hypertransport or LDT must not more than 1000 in any case. (u might see review can do more .. but there's no significant performance gain with that. So keep it below 1000 to achieve stability)
3) Ur PSU voltage is stable.
4) The most important thing is clockspeed. U wont lose performance as much as other platform if u use divider (set ur ram at lower frequency to avoid ur ram holds back ur cpu)
