If you are using online update ... confirm u have downloaded a corrupted bios file and flash... (so never online update the bios or kill the mobo)

suggest...
find an an8 board and borrow the bios and plug in your board to test...
if can boot means your bios is corrupted...
so u need to hot flash it...

hotflash
boot by using workable bios, and boot to a floppy that can boot into dos and have the bios of your board... take out the bios chip and put in your bad bios chip in it..
and type runme

if fail to find a bios/ rma it

Hope this help...
*
in my u i'm the only one used this mobo liaw
right now it cannot enter the bios cannot display anything and oso can say cannot press anything

what do you mean buy taking out the bios chip blink.gif
sound like ambulance at the speaker

(borrow the bios and plug in your board to test...) cannot understand by the meaning borrow the bios

(boot by using workable bios) oso cannot understand

sorry i very noob and hard to understand

Bro, did the BIOS flash successfully?
If yes, try using a single stick of RAM instead of one pair.
Else, grab another stick of RAM and try to get the system to boot.
*
right now the thing is, it cannot run any bios it like hang at reading 90 at the seven segment display
try many thing already
change psu, ram, take out the cmos (leave it around 5 Hours and now tring to leave it more than 24 hours)

The best way to update bios ...
U need to format your usb drive to have system file to boot in dos...
Depent what brand u have there and the software comes with it...
U need to use the software utility to make the usb drive to boot and not by windows...
If the usb drive can boot... what u need to do is just copy all the bios file in the usb drive and type "runme"
*
how to format with have system boot in dos...
don't know ooooo
is it in window rght klick n pick format but cannot create one oooo

AFAIK, mobo has itz own mechanism to reset its own setting(if they r capable to) if u OVER-overclock.. ahhahaha. meaning, the mobo kenot tahan already.

xplanation using metaphor:
mum ask Johnny to wear the pink pants coz it looks nice. Johnny kenot tahan, once mum leave the room, he change into a Bermuda again. ahahahaha  sweat.gif

datz wat i think personally. correct me if i'm wrong guys.. my AN8 only behaves dat way when it is overclocked. not in stock setting.  thumbup.gif
*
ok let say i oc it 2.4 n up only 0.4 for the frequency
voltage supplied through it only 1.45V
voltage supplied to ram 2.70V n the fsb set to 4x multiplier n the setting of the ram that rclxub.gif one depends on someting2 lar

it still the same results last time when i oc it it goes smoothly no problem until now only

The way i write it, hmmm. I tell them, i do oc the proper way, increasing voltage, lowering LDT and such. I oso give them links to "complained" at their official forum here  http://forum.abit-usa.com/showthread.php?t=86928 and full length description on the 1T problem here  http://www.maxitmag.co.uk/article.php?articleID=313. Even if i described the 1T problem wrongly, then, these two links should explained it. They sent me a second email n suggesting me to rma the mobo to taiwan.

cheers... I'm off wit abit.
*
yo..
same as me i off wif abit now plan to get dfi but dfi damd expensive

Perhaps you'd like to run the mem settings at 3-4-4-8. See if that helped.
Your E6 should be able to run 2.7ghz with ample cooling @ 1.55V. Slowly increase the vcore uptil 1.625V until you hit the jackpot for stability. However, make sure cooling is good enough.

sory asking stupid question

where to set 3-4-4-8 i know it was in the ram timming setting but which one because there was to many to set
