hmm, yeah. but to be honest, customs wont blocked pc/laptop from overseas because it's not a taxed item on the customs books. if they block the item, perhaps u need to pay some duit kopi or something -- it's rarely happened. got friends import 20 laptop worth RM20k all went well. haha. idk how he do it.

myself import 3 laptops without any problems. my suggestion, to avoid any trouble and easier customer service, use reputable but abit expensive shipping companies such as DHL/FEDEX/TNT to deliver your item -- you can call them just incase for any enquiries, which is not provided if you ship using USPS as far as i know.

and for marking item, its always better to mark as RM2K < below item to avoid complication on dilepaskan/ditahan because usually even the item is not taxed under customs books, a high mark value item will usually get customs eyes to be detain.

"Faulty item(warranty)" and in BM Bahan rosak. The custom never touch my item and just let it go as evident from the word. or refurbished laptop/computer/computer parts works great.

i bought the item from amazon US.
took 1-2 day shipping using a prime account of mine (prime account is where you can get 1 day shipping for a cost of $3-4 dollars on selected items)
then amazon will ship items to comgateway warehouse, after that i pay the shipping cost everything using paypal. (you can also pay via credit cards).

then, the wait time game..it's arrived here safely
