yea you can direct pay using CC.
the verifying part on comgateway i'm not sure its necessary, cause i use visa, so when i was going to pay they redirected me to the verified by visa page...

erm, you verify paypal by receiving 2 small deposits into your bank account (that is linked to paypal) and telling them what the 2 deposits are.
