Will miss you. In his prime, he is unstoppable! Two footed and deadly finishing. Fast and strong some more... scary.

QUOTE(matyrze @ Aug 23 2010, 10:34 PM) To be fair, Ronaldo was hampered by too much serious knee injury in his career. I still remember his horrific injury during his time at Inter. He was plagued by exactly the same injury for nearly 2++ years. Surely everyone know what he did when he came back during WC02. The sight of the late Sir Bobby Robson holding his hand on his head in amazement after Ronaldo scored a beauty against Compostela, the 2002 World Cup, hattrick against Man Utd in UCL, he had a very very good career indeed. I don't have an accurate recollection of his transfer from Inter Milan to Real Madrid but I do remember the Italian team sticking by him through his lengthy recovery, only for him to want to move to Real Madrid. Hmm... thanks, but no thanks. I may be wrong. QUOTE(robertngo @ Aug 24 2010, 01:19 AM) by this measure, Paolo Maldini will be the best player in the world. Just for the record, I do rate Maldini highly. Surely one of the best defenders of all time, and a living legend. He is the consumate professional if you ask me. Along with Baresi before him, fantastic role models. |

He is one of the deadliest and tricky striker in the world. He is better than the other Ronaldo. For me, he is the true Ronaldo. Unfortunately his knee injury make him gain more weight because he got injured so many time. I remember Manchester United also try to get his signature in 2002 but he chose Real Madrid.

Hmm... thanks, but no thanks. I may be wrong. Yes, Inter fans were upset by his departure, but I can't remember he forced the transfer through either. I think Inter was more than willing to sell him due to good offer from RM.QUOTE(seres @ Aug 25 2010, 12:58 AM) A Spanish club. Don't know in which league tier they are in now |
