QUOTE(zstan @ Sep 13 2010, 12:44 AM) i used cobra bounced flash from below. but the head is pointing at 70 degrees towards the model. hence creating the shadows which is 'higher' that the model. boyyyy u are wrong... they can.....don't think other flash guns can get the same effect with such simplicity though. hope i am not wrong. Added on September 13, 2010, 12:55 amthe only issue is they cant use bounce card like us... that all, they have to resort to those 3rd party flash bounce modifier. Mikeshashimi: we all know why Nex uses APS-C... nothing comes near it except another APS-C. the other would be the samsung NX10(aps-c)... but its noise is worst then m43's. to make thing scary, nex iso is better then A550... so which compact can beat A550? u got ur answer already... nothing come close to Nex for now. evilhomura89: my gf brought a TX5 few days ago... i kinda regret it, i should have force her to buy a NEX< the quality diff is heaven and earth... |

just got home not long ago, forgotten today i have a wedding shoot... lucky partner called up to remind me.
no matter how tired... tis shot made my day. ![]() (i got a feeling i need 1/25 to shoot, because i wan to capture them sharp while shaking the bottle 'voilently -motion blurred' so i use my finger to turn the PASM mode to S, dail down to 1/25, my first shoot, and the bottle sudden pops by itself while the couple is shaking it... really god blessing) Added on September 14, 2010, 1:59 am QUOTE(lwliam @ Sep 14 2010, 01:51 AM) yeah.. noticed that after i flatten, save and ctrl+w -__-" lazy to open back the bokeh remind me of those old film's 5.6 super tele... their bokeh look likes that...btw, the photos from that series has a lot of sharp bokehs to begin with... minolta 50mm 1.7 @ f/2.2 thereabouts... cant really notice it while on the field. see if i still can tahan, i might serve some main course btw, bon voyage, and safe traveling This post has been edited by ieR: Sep 14 2010, 01:59 AM |

willy: coming right uppppp....
mike: i really did not anticipant it.... it was really a lucky shot... but it made me smile whole night... tx5... erm, its better then all other compact (at the price range), except maybe LX and G camera (tey are more expensive anyway)... they have good night mode, but i get pissed because it has to process the pic for 5 sec before the next shot if use handheld twilight... but the 3200iso looks only like A200 iso400! still, nex senang senang buang it 5 kilometer in split sec.... QUOTE(Mikeshashimi @ Sep 14 2010, 02:10 AM) depends... if the firmware is target to fix error or to upgrade/improve the system(depend what they are trying to improve, if the improvement has no relation with IQ/iso... then NO). This post has been edited by ieR: Sep 14 2010, 02:12 AM |

clivengu, zstan, ahtsong: tq, lucky shoot only
lencent: i rather samsung improve their iso then trying to beat nex with buttons... let u choose, u pick iso or buttons or hotshoe? i rahter go flashless with superb iso and good DRO... also, like albnok mention before, its so Not ergonomics to have a flash on a nex body... and samsung dont even have a little 'grip' to hold it right... |
