Dear Home Fanatics,

First brought to market by FeONIC as the Soundbug, a TOY for kids and a lot of DIY people had a lot of fun with it. A good example where it was used to provide sustain on a guitar.

FeoNIC - SoundBug I YouTube - Quick SoundBug Electric Guitar Feedback Demo

F1.3 100 Watts Attached Image

The strength is not the highest of HiFi sound quality - it is perhaps better described as Mid-Fi in those strict terms. Instead the interest comes from the 'Invisible Speaker' capability (the drives attach to the rear of resonant panels) and the Immersive quality of the sound that is key: panels become Distributed Mode Loudspeakers. The drives also have massive force compared to similar approaches. So they can be described as drives for Architectural Surfaces. They can even be used for Public Address on cruiseliners.

Due to low excursion (see Fatigue and Stress table here FeoNIC Fact and Sheet FeONIC - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia ) the drives won't shake the plaster off the wall (unlike some other wall/panel mounted speakers). As an addition, FeoNIC does not use diaphragm, moving coil nor combustible making it a very robust device that is IMPERVIOUS to moisture damage and a long life span (3-7 times longer compare to conventional speaker)!

'Eye-Catchy' if you want a speaker that no one can see: i.e. For home cinema (floor or wall mounted and the range includes a subwoofer); a bedroom; bathroom AKA FeoNIC Therapy (totally waterproof as the drives are on the outside); or outdoors on (under) a deck. A MUST-HAVE Sound System for those who loves immersive acoustic!

It works like a normal speaker, both stereo or mono. Unless you're watching soup opera, for normal movies it's a great experience. 3.1 , 5.1, 7.1 or even 9.1 can be implemented. The S-Drive has a strong proportional quake and install correctly, you'll be having a motion monster experience right at your very own place. Stay tune as there will be couple of showrooms coming up within few weeks time.

FeoNIC speakers are good for public speeches, background music and even home theatre. Currently we have installed into mosque in damansara height and a few reputable companies such like Aino Kitchen (Musical Kitchen) and Ipmuda. More are coming up!

Not necessary. It works on most brands out there as it is run on passive power from amplifier. I would suggest the following brands:

Yamaha
Onkyo
Biema
Atlas
Behringer
Pioneer

Not sure about the avr as spec might different subject to the output power. For my side, I'm using a portable amplifier 12 watts output and it fires up the speaker so I would advise a minimum of 10W should do the trick. Heck, you could even use it for PA by attaching a 100V transformer! BTW, if attached correctly on a single panel, the travel would travel as far as 10meters - 20meters.

Unfortunately not on standard cement wall. What we would recommend is anything between 1/2 inch to 2inch our FeoNIC would sound drive the medium off course it must have a rigid surface, not soft material like cushion. What we tested so far and it works are:

1) Aluminum honey comb
2) Wood (Preferably Marine Plywood or MDF)
3) Glass
4) Fake Wall, Dry Wall
5) Metal and so on.

As for the house, we did an installation on a wooden resort for a re-known figure in KL. We installed our drive on its 200 years old wooden roof and quite frankly speaking, we were even astonished by the result! By the way, for those who wants a little privacy in their life, you can always install a F4 on a resonatable wall to 'mask' away unwanted sound from coming and out. Yes, you know what I mean....

Haha good question! Though I just came back from outstation. Guess everybody is Puasa-ing so not much online.

We are looking for Distributor / Reseller who are keen to become part of FeoNIC family. Project leads are also welcome as We have attractive packages and incentives to be offered.

We have a new PRODUCT coming out soon! Though I can't release much on the details yet, but it will revolutionize the way how speaker works! So stay Tune!

By the way, does anyone has an idea where to find Onkyo showroom?

Thanks!
