guys, wanna ask right, when u all buy C7 that time, default battery without charging can boot ah? just got my unit from postage, but cannot boot up after putting in battery... try putting in charger also the charging LED no light up... i notice got some pin from the back cover, is that one the cause?

u can see from gsmarena picture, the back cover open and will have 2 copper connector like that to detect if the back cover is closed one.... the phone now is like cannot detect battery at all

Nokia Ranger reporting in with a black C7 also... although mine DoA, will get it fixed ASAP

i read that is has USB-OTG, just doesnt come with the cable... can try with N8's one and see...
actually the overall design wise i prefer C7... if C7 is at least autofocus and have decent quality, i be using that already

it's not suddenly dead, his unit is the same as mine, Dead on Arrival, something to do with the phone's mainboard i guess

go ahead and try benchmark and see...

TBH i don really understand why they don wanna include that tiny little cable inside the retail package, it's not like it's gonna cost them a lot more per unit shipped... like they don have enough profit margin already

TBH it kinda gone the opposite direction... look at phone's defect rate last time compared to now... i don recall N82 having much problem, even on earlier batches

oh i did alright... apparently mods arent doing their job? one or two picture is cool, but what's up with the more then 10 images spanned across dunno how many pages on N8 thread yesterday? you flickr is your online photo storage site, not N8 thread nor C7 thread

i'm ok with spoiler also, and please do it in one post, or a few continuous post, or at least on the same page, not spanning across 5-6 pages every one hour upload 2 pictures like that

actually for this i kinda agree with BuFung. RM 1360 for this phone, IMO the price is rather steep as well... given the price, there are other better phones from manufacturers.. sorry to say, but i kinda think C7 model is rather unneeded, it's has the smaller brother C6-01 that does similar things for a cheaper price, or the bigger brother N8 that has extremely good camera that makes it stand out.. i still think if u want C7, might as well get C6 since both also similar. So to me, RM1360, either save some money by getting C6-01, or put a little more cash to get N8, or just better off getting a mid range android that gives better experience?

actually, are you a little too sensitive this time? unlike the other time where he' obviously trolling, this time he is really stating his opinion about RM1.3k on C7 is not quite worth compared to the other choices out there mah... he's not condemning anything, just stating there are some better choice at that price range

and yes, Squidoo, what you said, but trace back the start of the flame here, BuFung is also just expressing his opinion.

btw aspire, off topic a bit, i kinda interested in that free review ipad unit of yours.. how u get one?

Nokia says that it's a phone built for youngster and has better Social Network integration(or something like that)... but what i see, the same as N8 >.<

btw... give that photo thingy a rest la... old sh*t is old... it's not like we dig up NAND ram and continue discuss about it also right?

do u setup ur email to push? try turning email syncing off, also, bring your ovi social app(or any social networking apps u have) offline, it will also fetch updates from background

just think about what is your priority first, like Aspire already said, Gaming, iphone, Photography, N8(frankly i don think ARC is doing that well in this category), and if u want a little from everything, u can look up for android phones, popular games like angry birds, fruit ninja are already ported to android, the web experience is great. If u don have a data plan, u can also just simply hook up with a wifi connection. as for camera, i don really know much about android phone camera, but i havent really heard any decent camera(maybe i just missed out some that has) apart from SGS II...

damn... last Friday my C7 suddenly camera button sot sot die and decided to start taking camera by itself... then a while after that, the camera, menu, call, cancel and keylock slide can't use anymore.... big big disappointment
