Ask yourself wat do u look for.If u always use your phone to take photo then go for N8.If not go for C7.C7 is slimmer and the design is better than N8.Problem also not like N8

check your required preferences. if want photography, no other phone on earth suitable more than N8 if u dun need the camera, C7. it is slimmer. if u dun need larger 3.5" screen, C6-01 is it, 3.2".

just got my C7 few days ago. so far so good.

i am trying to use my ovi map gps but it is always telling me connection error, access denied and can't find my position.

must i connect to the internet to use it?

nokia maps? yes.. garmin? also yes.. both use AGPS, which need assist from internet. i dun know much of gps. this is only what i know. lets hope other users may help here u can try search in N8 forum if similar question may exist? cuz both N8 and C7 uses the same software with minor difference in hardware

Just to share that you need to connect with Internet before you can use ovi map. From my trial and error since there is no FAQ my C6-01 forum,seems you need to create an access point from your C7.

nokia maps (ovi maps) must use internet. Its best u have data plan.

Garmin doesnt use internet. You can use it even without sim card.

i think, they are ok. but picture taken from 5m+ is better on C7 since it got no autofocus. u can try viewing your picture with 100% crop forst to see how is the quality

having problem with gps? Better chck out the gps thread. If u wanna use gps in offline mode u nid to turn the assisted gps off. But ur locking time will take longer. And i thk its bttr using garmin cz of d map updates. I've been using gps wif assisted gps off for quite some time. Just recently chged to unlimited data plan so i use the net all d time.

just bought my c7 last saturday. Tried to restart my phone due to hanging there when i was using some application. Then, I cannot start my hp anymore today. sad case
