Debit card is not supported, as far as i know.

I use mbf card to pay ffxi bills. At first cannot register the card. I give an example not real name. Name on card is Kassim Baba. when I register the name of card in credit card registration, I put Baba Kassim then the registration of CC successful.

Credit card info is not the issue here. The real problem is 3d secure verification/authentication. Many people can't get through this.
Only PS2 and xbox are free of this problem.

Please understand what I want to explain is how the 3D-Secure read the name on credit card and the name of your form is treated differently. Even though when you were at the html page to verify the 3-D secure code successfully, but when you go back to POL the registering return fail. BUT, when I change the order of my surname and name order in the form, then I can register the card. (before I didn't change surname and name order I cannot register).

btw i try to register with maybank card = fail
my wife public bank = fail
my mbf card = success

To sum it all, call your bank first issuing your credit card.
Make sure they have the above said services. You MUST activate these services before you make payment on POL.

Many banks have this service, but just cannot pass the authentication. SE said it is our bank problem, and our bank will say there is no problem.

Perhaps other people who are currently playing can give testimony on which card works?
I can confirm HSBC Visa/Master works - I did help pay subs for my ex-LS members.

Citibank also can no problem at all in paying.

Not possible. Citibank is one of the very few cards that does not support 3d secure feature, at least in south east asia, extremely shameful. The customer service operator not even know about this new security protocol. It is not about paying, it is about how to pass the authentication. Since citibank does not support this feature the authentication will never work, so this card is out. You can pay now because your card is not yet expired, wait until that day u need to update your card info. Or there is another possibility -- you are not using PC to play ffxi.

Citibank card does not support 3d secure, not even able to reach the authentication page. Completely knocked out.
Maybank card supports 3d secure, unable to pass.
CIMB card suppports 3d secure, unable to pass.

Maybe can try UOB. They seeems to be pretty efficient and eager to sapu customers heavily lol. They are definitely on all ears if it's about the secure 3d thing. I believe they must have been a terrible bank before which puts them out now to greedily pull customer in XD.
