My s95 can't seem to focus properly after zoom to the max [optical zoom], noticed this after i dropped the camera once sad.gif

Any idea what might be the problem? It focus fine on close distance but anything far [5meters+] is just blur out

Dropped my camera too (it was inside it's padded case so no external signs of damage) and now it has very limited focusing.
If I put the camera to my ear and attempt autofocus, I can hear a clicking noise.
Does yours make the same noise too?
*
At the beginning yes, but after a while I don't here any clicking sound anymore.
Another thing is I can't seem to turn off the camera properly as well just after I dropped it, now it works fine except for the focusing part cry.gif

What to do? Camera still new.
Send for repairs and pray it won't be too expensive. sweat.gif
My camera's too old and not worth repairing.
Shopping for replacement now.
*
Where you sent it for repairs? Mine is like 18months old sad.gif
Without zooming in still fine, if is too expensive i won't be fixing it also

Guys, just found out my camera still under the 1+2 warranty, would it be better for me to send the camera to service centre or just back to the shop I purchased the camera?

I need someone to check on why is my camera unable to focus properly

Don't mention you dropped the camera or Canon won't repair under warranty.
I hope there isn't any external damage from the drop.

Body itself is fine, no sign from dropping before, just some wear and tear
