hi guys.. newbie here... just got my Desire yesterday... after 2days surfing this thread & all previous thread, i found all the info very useful & really help me to know my Desire better... but, i have a few question need clarification from all of u...
1-why some of forumer do so many times rooting & re-rooting the desire?
2-what happen if i try, & fail to root my Desire? any impact?
3-Is rooting can save batery power?
4-should i turn off my 'mobile network' data if i'm not using it to eliminate my data being overused? synchronized automatically?

Hi Guys, is it normal for my battery use as per below?
Android System = 96%
Cell Standby = 2%
Phone Idle = 2%
is it normal???

hi guys... just manage to ROOT & FLASH my Desire after almost 5hours yesterday... just wanna know, if in future i want to re-flash again, how to save all the current data like sms, mms, apps, picture & etc... is it wipe all our data in the memory?
another noob question, now how to check my apps is install into my ext memory???

when HTC going to improve the battery performance? if turn off all wifi, bluetooth, & etc (limit the usage of the phones) whats the point buying android? we pay higher to enjoy all the features....hurm....
