My sms handcent no vibrate when receive msg, how to solve tis?

Should be on your memory card. This one I not that sure as I'm using 0.80 HBOOT.

I have 512MB ext3 partition and 0 swap. I installed some apps. Then, some has MOVE TO SD labelled, so I moved most of them and then it gave me a warning message saying: No more space. That's impossible because when I check, all my storage internal, system, sdcard still has space.

Another difference I noticed on NextSense 5.3 is that when I received a call, I get more buttons then when I make them. I get like 4 or 5 extra little buttons which I never see before.

Updating app from Market will randomly reboot my Desire. Has anyone encountered any of these problems? Too late for me to get into the details, will post more tomorrow.

Appreciate if you guys can share any experiences that you might have.

Go to your recovery, then just choose install from sdcard
Choose the zip file. That's it

Place your ROM .zip file at root of your card

hi, KTCY, why some recommend 0 swap while some recommend 32MB swap file size? I think I did the max 256MB size using the Clockworkmod app. I can use a new size when I setup my new 8GB card later if the 256MB is not recommended.

and I research around and found that there is another way with gparted live boot cd to do the partitions but the FAT32 partitions will be made first, follow by ext3 and then swap. (Link - Click me ) Any idea of the logic there? Using the Amon_RA recovery method will have the same effect (if that sequence - FAT32>.ext3>>swap is recommended).

how bout the ext. for apps2d+ I see ppl recommending different values.

512MB ext3, 0 swap, the rest = fat32 seems to be the most popular answer.

Anyway, using NextSense 6.0, up time since last charger unplug = 6.5 hours, battery consumed - 6%

Anyway, that's just because I have generally low usage today (busy busy with work), but that proves HTC Desire battery life isn't that bad. Will further test it later when I go back to hotel with some intensive wifi

hmmm After i rooted, i entered Hboot, then i press recovery, and i've stuck in htc logo for few mins already.

Do you have ClockWorkMod recovery flash ?

5.3 eh? Not sure bout the calling stuffs but updating from market has no problem for me. Been really smooth all the way while using 5.3.

and for A2SD+ feature, i suggest you set your destination to default, so that the apps is installed properly on ext partition. I tried using external, but the apps appear in the SD(in the SD and phone storage settings, cuz it shouldnt if its properly in the ext partition). but still not sure bout your problem with that~~
