U can follow this Link:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=741663
However thsi is not the slimed down version.

Meaning u get Official Froyo with Apps2d+ and also al the other htc apps like teeter, stock and etc.
However, U can download the rom and then extract the zip file and look into system/app and then delete the apps (*.apk and *.odex) that u don need.
For eg. u looke into system/app folder and u can see teeter.apk and teeter.odex then u delete this 2.
After that u zip all the file that u hav extracted out which already remove these 2 files and flash the rom.
Finally, U wil find that teeter app is removed when u boot ur phone.
Just make sure u know what u delete.

If u find the steps is too complicated, jus flash the rom and try out 1st as removing the unnecessary file/app actually is not significant in terms of file size. Probably only remove 1-3 mb only.
But u will get a very fas UI and stable compare to other rom currently which is bloated. (This may change depend how they revise their rom)

@nd part of your question- I only knows that there are *.odex file along side to your apk files and most rom remove these
odex file to slim down their rom to gain more meory or space. And this process they name deodexed.
However, i still dunoo what is the purpose of the odex file.

Thanks man, for the link and the nice explanation. notworthy.gif

@bryan, do you find battery life better in nextsense 5.3 compared to Aurax 7.6.1?

I have no idea what I'd like to know about it sweat.gif

I might have missed this somewhere, but again Sense apps can't be used with this ROM right? hmm.gif

That's the thing for me,I need Sense apps, not so much the UI but I need the apps. Now I'm massively confused coz I'm thinking of moving to LeeDroid but someone said its also very heavy like the AuraXTSense.

So what is the best Sense ROM actually? rclxub.gif

AuraXTSense heavy? It's just like the default sense ROM with performance and battery tweak, I'm quite happy with it.

It really depends what you're looking for, but if you don't like HTC Sense apps, go for CM6 or OpenDesire. But then again you'll lose some nice widgets like the Agenda, News, Mail etc (to me at least)

I think CM6 is quite good if you're a minimalist

I don't know dude,I feel like it's getting slower from when I initially started using his ROMs,back in the NextSense days.

I do like Sense apps,I need them laugh.gif I'm not bothered by Sense widgets coz I'm using Launcher Pro which can't use HTC's widgets anyway.

Nandroid is backup your whole current rom, you use it only when you face problem when flashing new rom and want to go back to previous one without any changes....
in titanium backup, if you dont want to have prob with new rom, then just restore user apps..

i dun think a full nandroid restore is advisable as it will also revert back to the old rom (correct me if I m wrong). The nandroid is more for reverting back to your old rom if something bad crop out during the flashing. I kena once before - wipe everything and when wanted to flash the rom, found out the rom file in my SD card is corrupted, thus the phone can't boot up. If you have nandroid at this moment, just do a nandroid restore.

for titanium backup, just restore missing apps+data in batch. Then do a one by one restore for system data - those in green colour. But personally I dun restore all too, i only restore my contacts, sms, call history, bookmarks, wi-fi and bluetooth setting only.

Anyone can guide me on how to create ext3 partition? I heard its easy on AmonRa but I only have ClockworkMod so I'm not sure..

So the process is:
1) flash rom
2) partition sdcard?

I followed smart money blog and downloaded rom manager to partition my sdcard. However it only allows for 512mb partition. How do I get 1gb?
