QUOTE(David83 @ Aug 20 2010, 06:56 PM) The best card from Maybank should be AMEX Gold CC or Ikhwan AMEX Gold. Both offers 5x point at any petrol stations. On top of that, AMEX Gold CC offers 5x points for groceries and books at participating merchants and Autopay for telecommunication bills. In contrary, Ikhwan AMEX only offers 2x points for other swipe than petrol. QUOTE(David83 @ Aug 20 2010, 08:14 PM) ok, re-type, i shortlisted 2 CC, citibank cash back and that maybank CC. btw, I want to use my CC only to fill petrols. using my maybank debitcard so troublesome la, they deduct rm150 first and then they will give back the balance. ocbc titanium ya? |

http://www.ocbccards.com.my/titaniumRebates_tncEN.aspx T&C but but but is it easy to do monthly payment for this CC since OCBC is not so popular than MBB, CIMB, etc? within 5km radius of my house, there is maybank,cimb,public,bsn,citibank,RHB.. but not OCBC |

QUOTE(MilesAndMore @ Aug 20 2010, 10:48 PM) Just do an online IBG Giro. Depends on which bank you transfer the money from, the charge can vary from a mere RM0.50 to RM2.00. maybank2u charge how much to pay to OCBC normally? answer: interbank giro transfer from maybank2u to OCBC credit card payment = rm2. is it immediate or need to wait for 1 working day? answer: got it, described in maybank2u. so, finally, ocbc titanium mastercard is the best? QUOTE(hebe87 @ Aug 20 2010, 11:04 PM) QUOTE(hye @ Aug 20 2010, 11:07 PM) Transfer is not immediate. If you do it before 12pm then transfer is within the same business day. TQ2 After 12pm (even though 1 second) then next business day. so most of LYN users are using ocbc titanium? |

QUOTE(hye @ Aug 21 2010, 03:03 AM) They are not supposed to nor are you supposed to tolerate such nonsense. If got proof, do report the incident to the bank. and yes, i agreed. all this while, i'm using cash The problem with Malaysian consumer is that they tolerate it because they want to use credit card. |

QUOTE(zenquix @ Aug 26 2010, 05:28 AM) Interesting. Although i submitted my application thru the website www.ocbccards.com.my, the agent that eventually contacted me for documents seemed like a 3rd party. What was the steps you took to eventually have the OCBC agent contact you? how long u waited? At least mine seems legit as I have already gotten the card and using it. |

paiseh, failed my ocbc titanium card application. the strongest reason that i could say is that i took 2 weeks unpaid leave on the latest payslip that i submitted to OCBC. maybe ocbc thinks that my company deduct something or whatever
to make things worse, that ocbc agent keeps saying that my application is in process. (he didnt know that i checked using self service tel ; failed) |
