QUOTE(SeanChang @ Aug 28 2010, 04:38 PM) are u talking about ocbc titanium? if thats the case... a bit regret getting citi instead of ocbc liao Aug - Dec 2010 max cash bash cap = RM100 Jan 2011 onwards = RM50 no changes on the cash back rate if calculate based on citi, i can get about rm30 per month if calculate on ocbc, will get rm60 and above!, though capped at 50 later on. |

QUOTE(J-Slade @ Sep 14 2010, 04:18 PM) Guys I have two questions, hope someone can clarify for me... 1- correct if u want a peace of mind. no risk of latepayment. wrong if u want to save money. for example, those taking housing loan thats calculated daily interest. rm1 in account means less interest payable.1) Is it considered a wrong move to make payment early? Like I make payment immediately on the day the statement come out. Cos credit card is mean to enjoy interest free period right? But what if I make payment early? Will they think I am wasting their time? 2) Can the statement/cut off date be changed? Because currently its not really a nice date for me to settle the bill 2. yes. most of the bank can do that. best to put it near ur payday. |

QUOTE(Moolah @ Sep 15 2010, 03:37 PM) I'm not an expert on credit cards, but personally I won't do what you plan to do, especially for a mere few handred ringgit. It might damage your reputation with the banks. What if you need a loan in the future? What if the banks you said "bye bye" to come up with a great card in the future? Your future applications might be rejected and you'll be posting here wondering why. Can't agree more!Having a good relationship with the banks is importnat if you are an investor. |

i failed my ocbc titanium i think because i got too high credit limit on other cards. they would total up my credit limit from other bank and then compare the risk of me maxing out all the cards.
so.. moral of the story is.. high CL not necessary good esp if u have multiple card. |
