QUOTE(stacko @ Oct 12 2010, 11:51 PM) Thanks for the confirmation, as I am now able to detect where Titanium failed to give 5% rebates - it was the Shell petrol station at NKVE just before the Damansara toll interchange and not TMOnline. Discounting the RM73.73 petrol from Shell NKVE, I have managed to arrive at RM60.05 5% rebates from the total of RM1201 spent rounded up. That was weird. Why the Shell trxn was not given 5% cashback?

Was it that the Shell trxn is posted in the statement but not given 5% cashback? OR that is actually unbilled trxn, which will be reflected in next month's statement? i'm curious why would standard chartered ruin the exclusivity of world mastercard by imposing a relatively low requirement for it as compared to cimb / da / mbf's RM 200k per annum income or maybank's RM 240k per annum income.

Hi all, I swiped around 3.3k last month, but from my latest statement, I get 5% rebate = RM31, while 1% rebate = RM20. I'm sure one of my transaction at 2.5k is 1% only, but I only get RM20 only? Need to call CS and clarify the details?

Actually its still pretty exclusive ie. akin to the HSBC Premier, albeit not as up market. If you check the terms carefully, there is a need to maintain at least RM75K in deposits in their M a/c, failing in which an RM50 monthly charge will be levied. Do note that the card is not listed for casual application but symbolises their Preferred Banking offerings ie. package deal. Comparatively, it aren't too bad either as their branch service does put CIMB to shame Added on October 13, 2010, 8:16 amQUOTE(siutimtim @ Oct 13 2010, 12:54 AM) ....... haha you go to shopping center and most of the promoter also dunno what is world card.. they think is normal card only le... lower class than gold.. haha Well, that's ignorant sales people for you. Make sure you calculate correctly... just use the nearest RM to calculate the rebate. i.e. Spend RM150.95 --> RM150 * 5% i.e. Spend RM150.05 --> RM150 * 5%

This is the 2nd time I receive calls from someone claiming from VISA&MASTERCARD, saying i am entitle for a RM100k insurance premium.
I do not know, whats their motive, but i just play along, when they ask me :
1) Conlady : Are you Mr XXXX. ME : Yes I am.
2) Conlady : we are from Mastercard & Visa Card Company,,you are entitle for 100k premium insurance,,bla bla bla bla...Do you own Master or Visa Credit Card Me : You should know better, U said U are from Master & Visa Card.
3). Conlady : From which bank is your card, sir? Me : You should know better, U said U are from Master & Visa Card.
4) Conlady : Err,,Err,,I will call you back, sir.TQ Me : LOL
I'm eagerly awaiting for their 3rd call, asking the same stupid questions.
BTW, Mastercard & Visa are 2 different company. Don't be fooled by them, I do not know what is their motive by the way, & how the got my number.
