100% Inter gonna retain the tittle even Rafa is their manager now
Seria A used to be 2nd favorite league after EPL. Now they fall 4-5 place because no competition for 1st place anymore. I don't know why Ac Milan and even Juve didn't spend money for new player |

QUOTE(Sifha238 @ Aug 18 2010, 10:07 PM) 100% Inter gonna retain the tittle even Rafa is their manager now Juve did spend for a few player dis season liao. Refer my thread Seria A used to be 2nd favorite league after EPL. Now they fall 4-5 place because no competition for 1st place anymore. I don't know why Ac Milan and even Juve didn't spend money for new player red part - calciopoli dat hit serie A in 2006 did affect not only Juve,Milan,Lazio,Viola etc but the whole serie a to be exact. Dats why right now Serie A battling with German Bundesliga for the 4th UCL spot due to their co-efficiency points. The reason was the point from 2005-2006(where italian league did well in europe + Italy won the WC) was not count due to calciopoli.. |

QUOTE(Sifha238 @ Aug 18 2010, 10:07 PM) 100% Inter gonna retain the tittle even Rafa is their manager now AC Milan because they aren't Man City. They lack funds to purchase new players. Thats why they are loaning players or just simply selling players off.Seria A used to be 2nd favorite league after EPL. Now they fall 4-5 place because no competition for 1st place anymore. I don't know why Ac Milan and even Juve didn't spend money for new player They just got Kevin-Prince Boateng on loan if i'm not wrong. |

coz Milan dont have any debt in the club but lack of transfer fund because Berlushit do not want to spend more.
Where the hell the money from selling Kaka and Fly Emirates sponsorship? Btw,a well known agent predicted that Milan gonna struggle just to finished this season for the fourth places. This post has been edited by Muhammad Syukri: Aug 19 2010, 06:13 AM |

nice explanation there by muhd syukri.
As for Juve, the reason why were having limited transfer fund...or in the simple sentence..."our transfer strength was not as strong as like 4-5 seasons ago".... bcoz were in recovery step by step since dat horrendous 2006(a year to forget not only to Juve fan but serie a fans also). Another reason was were building our new stadia(on the same old Delle Alpi ground) dat scheduled to open during 2011/2012 season. |

Poor season remainder with juve & poorer season with italy in WC. last season i think there's more juventino here at footy lounge to be exact... Another Juve fan reporting in!
Big Vince now easily getting injured Juve still lack squad depth compared to other teams. There's some very debatable transfer decisions so far... Currently, I'll say the 2 Milans are the favourite to win the title. |

All the best players in the world played in Serie A..but not all the best plays in Premier league untill Chelsea money came in.
This says it all the prestigious and class of Serie A in Europe. Maybe the league going downhill at the moment due to money factor but remember, Class is permanent! Miguel Veloso. Both veloso & rafinha was transfer target for Juve for a long time..esp rafinha. Its a shame we can't sign him last season (oh...its secco as our director last season..so no wonder) Regarding Roma...well, finishing 2nd place (no offense) was Ranieri specialty. He did the same with Juve 2 season ago. i think he's quite a good manager at bringing the team to climb the table (look at wat he done at Juve & Parma) but surely not a winning mentality coach. i remember he did said something after Juve-Sampdoria game, "we're satisfied with this draw". u sure criscito can play in midfield ar? normally saw him as left back only.
i like those signings done by lazio, hernanes, gonzalez and garrido i consider good coup to restrengthen the team. quite boring with major domination from the big 3, juve, milan and inter. need teams like lazio and parma to push more as before, the magnificient 7!! |

BTW i got a question..Is Quagliarella the next big striker for Italy? Is he a better striker than Iaquinta is? |

Quagliarella is a striker where he can score unexpectedly from tight angles / unconventional shots. One good example would be his goal against Slovakia in the WC 2010. However, I think the reason why he's not able to hold a regular place in the national team is due to his inconsistency.
Iaquinta on the other hand is one of a work-horse. He will keep on running and running until he drops. Very rarely you see him being lazy. He's in the similar mold as Dirk Kuyt. Not as charismatic and cheeky as Cassano, Baggio or Balotelli. These few years he's been quite injury prone though. komandermaut: I think he can play LMF cuz he do go up flanks when he's playing as LB. Genoa's lineup looks surprisingly solid! I think they might be the surprise package this time round! |

Toto missed a lot of chances when representing the national team. Just watch the world cup and you'll see why.
Currently, our best targetman is probably Balotelli (for national team) This post has been edited by SnoWFisH: Aug 25 2010, 04:49 PM |

QUOTE(Firdaus_Fenriz @ Aug 25 2010, 07:42 AM) i am looking at the bright side, plus 1 more team in europa league of course serie a coefficient gonna be hit badly, esp if all german teams play well this season. still cant believe we are far behind now, dropping to 4th place in europe. 15 yrs back, serie a is unbeatable as the top ranking league! |

QUOTE(beandy @ Aug 25 2010, 04:41 PM) It seem like there is no more reliable no.1 striker to be found in Serie A? actually there's more underrated italian striker in serie a. The reason we didn't know any of them bcoz they play in lesser team etc Amauri was handed a debut on the latest friendly. And Cassano i dont believe his the answer to the national squad. How about Di Natale? And Lucarelli (wonder why he never chose for Italy) Sergio Floccari (Lazio), Alessandro Matri (Cagliari), Alessandro Rosina (ex-Torino, now Zenit st Petersburg) to name a few |
