Could someone list down phone models that can set your own phone number to the sim card so that it won't show up as "Unknown" in the Status ? Please, do not just reply old phones

And reason for this ? You can't remember your own phone number ?

Err.. This is to make sure "My Phone Number" section won't list down my phone number as "Unknown". Changing this is supposed to make sure my picture appeared automatically in SMS thread and other applications that depends on that information.

For those who don't know:
Settings -> About Phone -> Status -> My phone number

Using Nexus One with Froyo.

SIM manager can do it for you... no?

Sim Toolkit? Or are you referring to other app? Coz for my Sim Toolkit, I can't find any function to set my SIM number. How did you set yours?

go to people..then the 1st row is "ME"
edit that with pictures and stuff and it should appear

There's no People app in FroydVillain. Only Contacts.
