QUOTE(gxianfu @ Dec 5 2010, 08:21 PM) Hi guys, I'm new with Celcom Broadband thing. Just subscribed today. That celcom ppl told me the 5gb thing only applies on download stuffs. Surfing/browsing websites is not counted. the celcom ppl just tok kok with you...if you noe the truth story..you never use celcom.......you surfing/browsing website also counted......5GB is consis how much you upload+ and download..........if you see the statictisc at Celcom broadband manager....you can see how much you ul+dl in a day.......But I read the lowyat page about the fair usage policy, it's more like bandwith thing. (I cant do much comparison as only celcom got coverage in my area and i dun have internet before the celcom broadband, new house area) So, sorry if it's a noob question, meaning 5GB quota doesnt apply on download only right? It applies on the websites that u surf, video calls, etc? you wondering why i use celcom.....because i dun have any choice than using celcom...UM,DG,TM not have coverage at my place and time i apply this BB becoz have WorldCup Promo |

QUOTE(mochachoke @ Dec 12 2010, 01:13 AM) HSDPA and HSUPA different........ HSDPA =High-Speed Downlink Packet Access while HSUPA = High-Speed Uplink Packet Access how to get HSPA????HSDPA = Download speed up to 7.2Mbps (depending on your modem) and Upload speed about 128kbps i guess... HSPA = HSDPA + HSUPA HSUPA = Upload speed may up to 5.76 Mbps... There got certain area didnt have HSUPA service then it change from HSPA to HSDPA... |
