it could be the air cond is too cold...when aircond is running, the air is dry...when u off the engine, the aircond stops running...the vent is still cold and make the air around it become water and stagnant there...thats y got humid smell for the 1st few minutes when u on the air cond...
Added on October 22, 2010, 8:49 pmits nothing much to worry about...just blast ur aircond maximum to make the smell gone faster... This post has been edited by smokey: Oct 22 2010, 08:49 PM |

QUOTE(coolkwc @ Jan 8 2011, 09:45 AM) For the floor soundproof, see how 'deep' they can extend inside the pedal area, it can reduce engine sound, but not much. wah...nice improvement on the floor sound proof...how much it cost u jz for the floors? To reduce engine sound, you must do fender, mudguard and front door. Front door i did 3 layer + sound proof door rubber, give me huge different in engine noise. Now overall the engine sound @ 5k rpm = 4k rpm as before soundproof, for me quite satisfy without soundproof firewall. As for tyre noise, is approximate 40-50%. When i done all above soundproof my damn tyre only @ 20k mialege, now i can clearly notice that the tyre is damn noisy, can hear noise during speedline. i wonder how fender soundproof helps in reducing engine noise as fender is not the layer between engine and u...haha |

QUOTE(MR_alien @ Jan 11 2011, 10:45 PM) but my car already 3 years...i dn't think they will let me claim haha...i changed torsion beam because the rear alignment very crooked...before and after, my car still senget 1 side...same situation with u, when see from behind, passenger side is higher than driver side...so it's not absorber's problem or alignment prob?? cuz i just find out today only...might want to monitor it few more times see if it's really go down... i also try changing to GAB sport spring, car still senget 1 side...i really dont know what is the problem...maybe the weight of engine and petrol tank are all on the driver side...zzz the tilt is very obvious when i park at slope and flat parking spot... |

QUOTE(MR_alien @ Jan 13 2011, 03:01 PM) torsion beam cannot adjust but i can make the rear alignment straight when ur car bounce for quite a while after going thru bumps...since the senget one side cannot be fixed...mind as well fix the alignment only and what's the "sign" that they absorber need change?...squeeking sound? if absorber is healthy, ur car should stop bouncing almost immediately... Added on January 13, 2011, 3:14 pm QUOTE(MR_alien @ Jan 13 2011, 03:01 PM) torsion beam cannot adjust but i can make the rear alignment straight for the different ride height, i think we need more ppl to complain to proton SC to make them notice...if not they will just close 1 eyes...since the senget one side cannot be fixed...mind as well fix the alignment only and what's the "sign" that they absorber need change?...squeeking sound? when u go for servicing, u can complain to them first and c what they will do about it This post has been edited by smokey: Jan 13 2011, 03:14 PM |
