Greetings,

Does anyone here experience on the power window started to get noisy when you are driving through bumpy roads doesn't matter its wind down or wind up (closed) ?

Any idea how to solve it ? It seems like the gap in between the Window glass is getting wider.

Just done with my service of 25K mileage outside. Nothing much have been done except changing the engine oil and the oil filter at the cost of RM87.00

Was wondering anyone of you here knows how to check the condition of the disc brake at the rear wheels physically? Mine nowadays is quite loud when stepping during dry and wet condition as well. sweat.gif

A quick question here :-

Will it be recommended if I were to work on the tyre alignment, balancing as long as changing engine oil or some minor service touch up at a same shop (Tyre Shop) ?
Thank you.

if good shop service and price, why not? this question doesn't have a proper answer to deal with, it depends on which shop ur going.

If that's the case then I shall give it a try on the shop and see how it goes.
By the way .. when driving along the straight road, my steering seems to be shaky - does that means problem appear on the tyre ?

In shaky,you mean vibrating?

Besides vibrating you can see that its shifting from left - right - left

Yeah. For me, I was thinking of Bardahl. RM90 for 4l is kinda tempting.
You can gauge it for yourself. As some here have mentioned, different tires, etc. But based on my own experience with the stock Silverstone tires in town driving, I normally need to maintain it every 3 - 4 weeks. If you notice that when you pump the tire, there is a lot of pumping needed and if your FC increases, then you probably need to pump the tires earlier.
I have the same sound as well. Planning to go tell the SC during my upcoming service.
Do you mind listing the items in your bill? It seems quite a lot for a 30K service. 20K is the major service, normally.
Same here as well. Every now and then, the car is just difficult to start. So I wind up having to keep pulling the ignition until it starts. Will complain to the SC as well.
Thanks for the input. Will try and make up my mind by the time the service is due.

I no longer servicing my car at the Proton Edar SC. Currently at those shop out there located near Sri Rampai. Basically the items and services included in the total billing are as listed below :-

1. 2 units x Front Tyres - Silverstone *the ordinary model been used with the car
2. Engine Oil (Hi-Rev SM600 SAE20W - 50)
3. Oil Filter
4. Air Filter
5. Tyre and Alignment Balancing (Front Left side) Change a new metal rod to re-adjust the alignment
6. Installation & Labour Charge

That's all I guess .. smile.gif

Well, my spark plugs are due for changing anyways. biggrin.gif
I do (2) all the time. I do (1) only if the fan is running and only if I have time. hmm.gif
Mind listing the prices too?

I think the tires sorta explain it. And I suspect those metal rods, are a rip off.

And a word of advice. Don't use those Silverstone tires. They suck.
*
I'll need to look for the receipt inside my car .. The kinda metal rod that fix the tyre alignment cost me about RM40 and as for the tyres both cost me about RM200 with installation charges.
What makes you said they suck ? They do recommend me other brand as well .. such as Falken and Sime Tyres .. I got no idea which to choose but I do have some bad issues with Falken with my Old Proton Saga as it doesn't really have a firm grip when emergency brake that time. Got accident twice ..
