QUOTE(omara86 @ Oct 6 2010, 10:40 AM)
wanna ask about 1 thing... can blm go more in term of top speed with slight mod.. i mean like for example... i need 600m to get to 160km/h... what i need to do/change to get more top speed in the same range...?? btw i've never able to surpass the 160km/h bar...

sry to post this, juz bash me... last weekend aound 3am, i'm driving back home from dota session with my frens (total of 4 ppl in car).. on d way back, got waja kacau2 me (mayb bcoz my side sticker makes he think that i'm ayam a street type of person), ajak race with him (1.6 cps only 2 ppl inside)... he pecut 1st and i follow him, until i reach 1 roundabout, i play corner kaw2 until the waja cannot maintain his speed and i overtake him... since then, i maintain my throne and he keep on following me, cucuk2 me while i'm doing 160km/h... yet he cant overtake me... until around 20mins, he turn away to his own destination and i'm cont driving back home...

my point is:
what i need to do to increase my top speed while maintaining my accel?

about my car:
blm n-line
utr strut
zspeed muffler (bassy, no vroom2)
ori 13" rim besi
RM100 drop-in filter, dunno wat brand, didnt check juz directly buy

btw i'm from kuching...

sry again for posting illegal drive in this thread...

Please bear in mind. 13" -> 15" will slow down ur acceleration. Bigger rims = more torque required to turn the wheels. Which i think defeats the purpose of you getting those rims since u said u wanted more acceleration. But if you want it just for the looks, i understand. Have fun. wink.gif
*
for the sake of looks and stability bro.lolx

hi everyone & sifu...

where can i fix what people call it strut bar in front of my bonnet in Butterworth???

Price = better cheap with good quality lo... (Reasonable)
By the way what is the price??

Added on October 6, 2010, 8:53 pmthen can it really make the car more stable when cornering???

Added on October 6, 2010, 8:53 pmBlm Mline Manual Here Year 2008 one...
*
Go check any nearest acc shop near u.the front strut would cost u around 120-150 depends on the brand u choose..
for myself i use ultra racing front strut.

it makes ur steering response faster abit and yes u will feel more stable during cornering. thumbup.gif

wan to ask,is it got huge different between 15" and 16" in acceleration and fuel consumption??
*
actually it depends on the weight of ur car.
common sense.the more weight u carry the more power u need move ur car.
but its not really much difference i think.

You will regret later.

I don't know why you guys do that.

Try to think about that, when you want to paint your house wall, would you wash/tear the old one before you apply new paint?

Imagine the stock tint start to get bubble after few months later, and become blurry after a year, then your good tint will gone as well.

Hope your 2nd tint is not the branded expensive tint, else good luck to you.

rm100 tint oni..

Auto is better to drive at KL, but FC is damn suck. Manual BLM can feel the aircon compressor kick-in very obvious, which will make 1~2 gear feel jerky, not comfortable for traffic jam driving, but FC wise and power is better, so u choose.
*
For BLM u can use a higher UF VS..that shud do the trick. laugh.gif
it can less the jerk u mention.
There r DIY VS selling in www.Blmclub.co.cc

For Auto, u can reach around 350-370km for full tank...thats my car laaa.. i donno bout others.
For manual i heard some can reach almost around 500km..atleast thats what i heard. biggrin.gif

What engine oil rating do most of you guys use?
Im currently using Nasa 10W-40 but from what i've read some said 10W-40 is considered thich and many would opt for 10W-30. But from what i think, 10W-30 is a little thin.
So?
*
for BLM, 10w40 is fine actually

Our campro engines are thirsty engines, gearshifts needed to be done with the correct RPM, and a light foot is needed in order to achieve better FC. Mine auto, on average normal usage I get 320km for RM50. Full highway drive under the speed limit I get 413kms on a full tank, my record. laugh.gif
*
wahhhh..that good bro.
u can drive under the spped limit in highway..salute u.hehe
my feet cannot tahan lerrr when in highway

just stick with manual book..should be ok...service your car on time is more important than how thick or thin the engine oil is..
