I think is just a normal nut that stop ur pedal from travel too far.

Spot on, dude! I had a careful look this morning and it seems to be performing that function. Took off the nut and it's just a solid screw underneath.

Wow, didn't know this car has a secret rev limiter tongue.gif

By the way I've been tracking my fuel consumption lately and I think it's on the high side considering I have a manual gearbox, I get about 250 km per 25 litres. I wouldn't say I drive slow, but I don't accelerate hard and neither do I rev beyond 3000 RPM. Been using Mobil and Petronas RON97 for the past two refills (don't really care about brands, I just use which ever is convenient; I've also used Esso, Shell and Caltex in the past). There are some stretches where I can cruise at 60-90 km/h (Jelutong Highway and the Gelugor main road) but the rest is start-stop traffic. I just had my 1000 km service last Saturday. If I'm not mistaken, my consumption was more like 300+ km per 25 litres before serving. Hope it improves by 5000/10,000 km.

Since u said alot of start stop traffic, 10KM/L is consider ok adi.

It won't improve much or no improvement at all at 5k and 10k millege, at least this apply on me.

installed a UR strut bar for my Saga.

Now comtemplating suspension change, any advise?

HWL full kit cost about RM1400 or thereabout. Anyone using this or others?

Some advised to just change spring and keep standard absorber till it dies. Wise?

hi BLM owners, i still have doubt to get BLM over other alternative, these are my concerns:
-Fuel consumption, is it fuel saving? since the RPM is kinda high like 3k-4k.
-PRoblems? like those common proton problems: headlight burned out, power window...etc
-Maintenance cost?

Just to share something about FC:

I pumped RON97 BHPetrol and been using for bout 6 tanks of it.

I found out that it's was quite fuel consuming where

RM60 = 310KM only

But after that I gave up by pumping RON97 after the fuel consumption pretty high and now I use RON95 BHPetrol as well. This is my first tank using RON95 and of course still mixing petrol. But after pumping RON95 (1st tank), I get this :

RM54 = now oni deduct 2 bar and already 190KM. Will update later bout the FC. I believe I can go further if compared to RON97.

In conclusion, I would say that RON95 is actually more fuel save than RON97. Anybody have faced this FC before?

Cheers! rclxms.gif flex.gif

I came across a shop in Sri Damansara selling FRP for Saga BLM (I'm getting my M-Line next week rclxms.gif ). Anyway the price is so.....
4 side skirts + spoiler = RM1,580.00 (+ installation & paint job).
Anyone can recommend good garage with reasonable price for FRP/PU nearby Puchong area?
Thanks..

FC depends what car you compare with.. if you are comparing with Myvi or Vios I believe BLM's FC will be considered as High.

Engine noise sibeh noisy as far as Im concern.

think shouldnt compare to vios/city since those are pretty high up there with fuel efficiency. need to compare with something more average. which is why numbers would do well.

and yeah omara, the noise is manly. wub.gif

@alexleow: the branch worker i bought the car from mentioned to use RON95 also but reason why i dont know.

blm doesnt have sound isolation on firewall, so cruising on highway @ 120kmh will hear the engine heavy roaring noise  tongue.gif
