theoretically, mileage or period. if over 3 months, u still plan to hang it onto 5000km, it's up to u. its like u got a car, u never drive it much, more or less like 3rd car in ur house. do u change the engine oil everytime it reaches 5k? or at the period?if it takes u 6 months to reach 5k, then how?

dun cry asking if warranty still apply if this if that later.play safe, change it.

there is this sticker on my windscreen written...

last service 27th June, 5000km or 3 months, whichever occur...

my mileage atm is 4700+

so since its already 3 months passed, yet still not yet go to service my car...

my question is, does it consider warranty voided if im wait til reaching 5000km, even though it passed 3 months ago...??
*
for me i always follow mileage, coz it's more or less the same (when comparing mileage and time; ie 3 months)... but if let's say your mileage is very low, then follow the 3 months is better...

woah...rm574 for 20k service, more expensive than nissan car service,  doh.gif

labour rm100 is really ridiculous.. doh.gif service blower motor and filter is what?why u need it?

i know, but what to do?? really dunno stuff about cars, in terms of servicing myself... drive I know la.... hahahaha laugh.gif

I also thought of the battery thing too.... coz as far as i remember it's free maintenance ones... but it seems like they are giving the price based on package, like procare regular, procare smart unsure.gif

no nid follow so accurate one..

spark plug if still can use or the shelf life still there, no nid change also can, but depends on u..

coolant i not sure, but due to nature of high rev-ving of campro 1.3, so change it every 20k km is reasonable..ask them how mnay bottles of coolant they use.

gear oil, some said 4 service 1 gear oil change, but some also said manual gear oil is not as critical as automatic transmission, but change it at 20k or 25k, depends on you.

the important thing of every service to change is engine oil and oil filter.

ok, noted. thank you all for the advises.

but there a doubt regarding why engine lubricant need to change after 3months even though it isnt running to 5000km yet...??

does overtime will also cause the lubricant degrades or damages the engine too...??

p/s: i got no knowledge regarding car jargon, so sorry for the silly questions.

once engine oil is being heat up in the engine, there will be chemical reaction..the reaction caused the oil to degrade over time..

I am about to do my 15k engine oil change at workship outside, they are offering me a white ori oil filter instead of blue oil filter. Is it ok? I still want to maintain my warranty smile.gif

Hi guys, I just realised that my right side fog lamp bulb just died. Is it covered under warranty? My car is only 4 months old. Isn't that a little fast? sweat.gif

Read your manual.
Its not under warranty. You can go to any accessory shop to have it replaced for less than RM20.
