I have a problem with my radio. It keeps going into SEARCH mode every 15 - 20 seconds. Damn bloody annoying.

Second problem I noticed is the right door. Everytime I close the door, it feels kinda hollow unlike the other 3 doors. It doesn't have that "solid" sound. Sound proofing problem?

And someone mentioned something about "engine tuning" for the 10,000 km service. Is that standard for most SCs? Free?

I'll be going to the SC for my 10K service tomorrow.

my battery finally come to the end, after 29 months...

Dunno if you're talking about Proton Edar, but I service mine at EON Jalan Makloom (turn left from Sungai Pinang road after the Volvo showroom if you're coming from the highway). Been there twice, for 1,000 and 5,000 km. They're pretty fast and can get things done by the morning if you're there by about 8:30 am.

BTW, I got my car on 19 October 2010 and it has done nearly 8,000 km already

Don't have the answers, but it's the perfect time to ask the SC tomorrow

yes get the fl 2day.. already finish 245 km .... ermmm.. the seller said he put fuel rm50 n now left 2 bar fuel indicator.. is it good @ not bro?? give comment.. my saga fl standard manual with hehe.. really love take cornering

Your consumption seems okay to me. But I find the last bar doesn't last very long, maybe for about 30 km only.

I was told that my car doesn't have anti-rust when I sent it for 1000km service. They said I can send it back to Proton Center of Excellence to get it done. May I know how long does it take? Coz I will be without my only car and I might have to take few days off...

Besides, any other Proton authorized place to do this anti-rust thing around KL?

also want to ask them to check my foglamp, already kong both side after srvce at bj SC and do balancing cause when reach :120km/h gegegegegaaar....

It's the AF function of your radio. Switch it off. You can find out how to switch off from your manual.

Not sure what you mean about hollow sound. Your hollow sound could be my full sound.

I don't know if it's standard but no harm talking to the SC staff about it when you register for service.

Was rushing back home just now, speeding along the LDP highway. When i reached home, i noticed there was a burning rubber smell outside my car. Is it the brakes? Or is it the tyres? Was going like 120-140, with heavy acceleration.

Clutch? Brakes?

I'm driving an auto FL. Burning rubber smell, is it normal?
