So, short speaking, once you skip, warranty gone. This post has been edited by coolkwc: Sep 13 2010, 09:27 AM |

QUOTE(+Newbie+ @ Sep 13 2010, 10:15 AM) Hehe, the book says every 10K mar. So tell them you service every 10K lor. At least can go alternate service instead. The SC i went regularly said 'cannot' even booklet not stated. QUOTE(SiuYi @ Sep 13 2010, 10:20 AM) coolkwc Now my booklet is as below.read properly. if u change during 5k interval, no big deal bro. authorized SC very cincai 1. seldom u got issue of claiming again if u go for routine service. So far i gone through 15k service and now is 20k major service. 1. 1k free - at 1220km 2. 5k free - at 7200km 3. 10k free - at 12481km Haha, then the following make me laugh since the booklet no 15k interval, so when i went for 15k service @ 17786km, they chop at 20k major service, means i done major service adi? Means if next time I go to another SC for 30k, then should be no problem rite? since they won't know i guess. Now my mileage is 23100km, i will go for service later at outside, plan to use full sync (thanks to the xtra save of 'labour charge' at SC) This post has been edited by coolkwc: Sep 13 2010, 10:45 AM |

QUOTE(jaya7 @ Sep 14 2010, 02:29 PM) hi guys, just wanna ask BLMs' fuel consumption after 2 yrs (coz my car already 2 yrs). I recently noticed the fuel consumption has gone higher. I use Petronas Ron97 and poured full tank which came up to 64 bux. but the fuel indicator started blinking when it reached 320+ KM on the ODO meter.. Just this tank only or adi few tanks? Don't judge based on 1 or 2 tanks.my worry is that, it didnt even reach 400km to dry up so fast, is this something abnormal ? do i need to check on something ? Anyway, how about ur O2 sensor? maybe faulty. I advise you observe more. |

QUOTE(jaya7 @ Sep 14 2010, 03:04 PM) few fill ups already, plus when the last bar will turn to solid after few blinks and then blink again, goes solid and then blinks forever..weird.. it used to blink only.. hmm, you sure ur FC never as high before? Because sometimes very hard to judge, maybe traffic condition not the same. This post has been edited by coolkwc: Sep 14 2010, 03:14 PM |

QUOTE(max_cjs0101 @ Sep 16 2010, 11:24 AM) Guys, when you're at the service center changing the engine oil, does your mechanic pour the whole 4L bottle into the engine? Mine did. If they drain completely, actually 4L won't exceed the dipstick too much. Few days ago i started service outside, they pour in almost 4L inside, still some remained only. My guess is this Campro engine do need more oil compare to old Proton car, maybe the oil tank is bigger.Mine did. Some engine oil is leaking and im not sure whats causing this and when i checked the dipstick, the engine oil is slightly more than the max level. I last changed my oil 2 months ago. |

QUOTE(klk89 @ Sep 16 2010, 05:51 PM) If they poured all the engine oil into the engine, would it cause higher FC? As some members told me before if its too much engine oil will strain the engine to perform smoothly. Unless the oil is exceed too much, way beyond the max level. For our BLM, the level will exceed little bit during engine cold, but once u started engine, the level if below the max level, it should be no problem. As Newgen mentioned, the Campro oil pan is larger.Previously all my services they poured in full 4L inside, but still with good FC. This post has been edited by coolkwc: Sep 16 2010, 06:10 PM |

The tyre size of M and B-line basically is same, M-line with 14" rim and thinner side wall, while B-line with 13" steel rim with thicker side wall, FC difference due to these are neglegible.

For AT is normal, some even could only reach the range 240~280km; For some MT users also normal because of traffic jam. 2) Fully last 10k km; Semi last 5k km, but proton oil filter could only last 5k km, this is what i could tell u. For futher info, u need to google by yourself 3) lol, this must explore yurself and try to diy solve them yurself, especially door panel noise. Most of us here are diy to solve the noises by ourselves. Going to SC no much hopes |

Finally the common problem started to plague my BLM after a year of usage.
The rat noise from the alternator bearing during cold start. Started to happen since this Monday, after i went back hometown from JB-Ipoh-JB total 1100km journey on Saturday-Sunday. Before this i'm sure didn't have these noise. Actually i'm not worry since the noise will dissappear after 2 minutes. just I feel Campro in terms of durability is not so satisfying, because everytime i will found new problem after such long run. 1st my IAFM started to give noise during cold start right after the same journey on last June, now the bearing/bell. I didn't speeding at highway one, 99% maintain at 3.4k rpm @ 105km/h. I still suspect the short gear ratio has lead to unnecessary heavy work for the engine during long distance cruising will finally bring disaster to the engine in one day. But luckily the FC are still same as new car, at that speed managed to get 16km/L @ 6.1L/100km. I really think Saga is not suitable for long distance journey, how you guys think? Anyway, tmr or Sunday probably i will go to sound proof my car, flooring 1st, quoted RM1.3k. This post has been edited by coolkwc: Sep 24 2010, 02:13 PM |
