i just realise the rear of my car is very clearly uneven
the left seem to be higher than the right side...and the left side seems to be normal but the right side seem to have go down
the front looks normal
want to ask...is it the absorber kong already???...or alignment or what????

torsion beam cannot adjust alignment...thats y need to change the whole thing...

coolkwc, ur car got senget or not? i noticed alot blm senget 1 side too...
*
torsion beam cannot adjust but i can make the rear alignment straight
since the senget one side cannot be fixed...mind as well fix the alignment only
and what's the "sign" that they absorber need change?...squeeking sound?

when ur car bounce for quite a while after going thru bumps...
if absorber is healthy, ur car should stop bouncing almost immediately...

for the different ride height, i think we need more ppl to complain to proton SC to make them notice...if not they will just close 1 eyes...
when u go for servicing, u can complain to them first and c what they will do about it
*
bounce quite a while ah....hmm...need to see
but it seems my absorber is harder than usual...dn't know if it's kong already
last time is soft...now is quite hard when going through bumps

Haha, mine also, won't bounce but is much harder...but is normal la, tyre getting harder + absorber aging.
*
and i think it's the rear absorber...since it's using oil one...oil one usually 2 years already finish
mine is already 3 years but yet still no leaking
front one is air so it should last longer
want to do my alignment but will hold it back 1st since i think my rear absorber will finish soon......change already also need to do....so no need to do 2 times

i tot stock blm abs is gas one?? hmm.gif
*
the rear if not wrong is oil one becuz when i go for alignment...the guy there would only check the rear absorber for leaking but not the front
and when i go through those big bump that have to stop....when the front passed through....i can hear "pssst" sound from the front when i open my window....but not the rear....so the front is confirmed those gas hydraulic one but the rear should be the old style oil based one
but i'm not 100% sure though

Torsion beam suspension is a vehicle suspension similar to a trailing arm suspension but where both trailing arms are connected by a beam. So its dead & don have camber & alignment.

For absorber, normal driving condition it can last for 4years or above. If absorber wear out, then will be very bouncy on uneven road.

smokey
I also notice that most car driver side lower then passenger side, after doing some research, this is normal for single driver because of driver weight. Nowadays most car are using gas shock absorber, its oil & gas. So when the oil leak, means the piston sealing spoil & have to replace new.
*
it's fixed i know
but the alignment can be done
some user here done it before
and of course not as easy like the front...need to loosen the screw and insert clips to adjust it
it's all using eyes and hand feel.....machine doesn't work alot here...the machine only can tell run out by how far only

Ya, my rear camber is adjusted before, actually need to add metal strips in between brake housing and axle to correct the angle. Quite expensive. My rear camber is less than ori car, can easily see by naked eye
*
how much u do?
i do mine RM60
RM40 for the alignment...that is the standard price for alignment in sabah
and additional RM20 is for the spacer....it was RM10 each side....he put in around 4-5 into it
thn it was straight
but recently it was not straight again becuz i just change my tyres few months ago...now need to do again

Not as bad as your i guess but im having a cracked windscreen now too due to rock hitting it.
Gotta claim insurance to replace it. Holding out as long as possible tho

Anyone knows what are the cheaper ones that can fit the SAGA BLM? smile.gif
*
dn't get cheaper one...it's the windscreen for god sake
and remember to get a good tint after this....so it doesn't easily crack
mine always hit by rock but never had any issue of cracking...u need something to hold on to the windscreen

Same here as well. Every now and then, the car is just difficult to start. So I wind up having to keep pulling the ignition until it starts. Will complain to the SC as well.
*
no point of complaining to SC...they would just change the spark plug for u
but the problem isn't on the spark plug
it's just going to cost u money only
